The music is inspired by the small miracles in everyday life and the complexity and beauty of the natural world. Sentimentality, melancholia and other, less definable emotions, form his musical palette.

Having worked as a computer engineer and a soldier, Erik composes music for recreation when time allows it.

(This text concerns the swedish hobbyist composer Erik Carlson, and not the american singer/songwriter of the same name, whose album "The way I feel" can be seen on Erik's artist page but really shouldn't be there.)

The more I think about it I'm on board for Karlsson, I say make it happen even if a first round pick is involved. Crosby, Malkin, and Letang potentially only have a few seasons left together. They might not win it all again, but at least give them some more talent on the roster and make it interesting. Graves-Letang and Pettersson-Karlsson would be an awesome top 4 on defense.

Before even seeing this video, I don't think the trade will happen. Unless there is a 3rd team looking to take on cap for picks. But if I am the Pens I don't send anymore high valued draft picks if they are trying to rebuild the development pool. As much as I would love him I think the trade would hurt us in the long run.

Great job! I agree the pens don’t need to give up a lot. In a big way we are doing the sharks a huge favor. They’re a bad team paying 1 million a month for a guy who will only really hurt them by keeping the team out of the top of the lottery. I’m sure they are trying to make it seem like Carolina is interested but I don’t think they are. I think you give them pettry for sure as you stated, it won’t work if they have to give up Pettersson (as I’ve heard reported). If they take granlund as well, then I’d be willing to increase what Pittsburgh gives them. Also a deal breaker would be they need to get his salary down to 8.5 Million.

I was saying all last season that Rust should have been on the third line to get some offense in our bottom 6. Just makes so much sense. I’ve also loved Drew O’Connor all season. Why the coaching staff couldn’t see the potential in him last season is beyond me. He’s big, fast, has great hands, and he stays hustling! He’s hard on pucks. He’s what we need. LGP!! Great podcast.

As a devils fan, I think you guys are gonna love graves. He played all the big minutes for us this year and he delivered more often than not. I'm surprised we didn't bring him back when I saw what he got from pitt.

It would be fun to see Karlsson with penguins but I worry the defence will suffer badly. Petry's not the player he used to be but he's a big body who can shove forwards out of the crease. If they trade for Karlsson im fine with it as long as pickering and yager aren't involved

I think that some of Dubas' moves are with the intent to give guys like Poulin, Puustinen, Zahorna, and other guys, a chance to win a roster spot.
Last season, I'd said that Sully should use Rust and Rakell on the third line with Poehling as center...that could happen with O'Connor at center. Eller could anchor the fourth line. You could, probably, see Acciari playing some top six minutes, a couple times a game...he's got some speed and can score.

I kinda hope it don’t happen idk I just don’t see the fit. Then him and Letang both play 30mins a game and every game is a track meet relying on Jarry for huge saves. That’s a recipe for disaster I don’t think they have the footspeed to play like that anymore.

I think you’ll get a hell of a lot more offense from him where his defensive issues will be covered up a bit with the right partner. He won’t hit 100 points again but if he’s in your ballpark of points, plus plays with one of Graves or MP28, who can help him in his own end, I do think it’s an improvement IMO

Gotta disagree with Josh. When watching the sharks play. It’s pretty obvious karlsson not as bad defensively as those who just read his stats would think. He was playing with: j Megna, j Macdonald, m Benning, 2022 vlassic. Etc. 5th,6th,7th dman on a decent team. Playing 1st line minutes with karlsson. If he got beat, there was not much help behind him. Some of the worst goaltending in league. As pointed out by others while a minus in the 20’s. He also was on ice for over 15 empty net goals if I remember stat correctly.

@Locked On Penguins That would be a weak Dubas move in my eyes. Similar to how bringing in Tavares for 11 million in Toronto set the bar for all the other big contracts to slot in around his salary. It seems like he doesn't completely grasp that guys expect to be payed relative to peers on their own team.

Letang and Defense don't belong in the same sentence . And Letang has played one full season in his career . He is always out for long periods . Waste of money paying him to stay at home .

Over his career, Jarry's been a top ten goalie. This past season was one of his worst. Among starters, he finished 15th in GAA and 12th in Save %, this year.
Now that Dumoulin's not here, if we can keep Letang from continuing to run attacking forwards into his own goaltenders, Jarry and DeSmith may have a chance to stay healthy, this season.
Watching games this past season, you could see when Jarry and DeSmith stopped trusting the defense in front of them, they'd start going down early, making other mistakes that they, normally, wouldn't make.

Why does everyone think NHL’ers want to play with Sid and Geno. Maybe 5 years ago but has anyone seen Geno and Letang play the past 24 months. An Old Sid is not the draw you homers think. Letang is done. A goalie would be nice.

It would a good pickup honestly. He’s a quality guy too(personality wise). I get that he’s getting older but moves like this could inevitably get the Pens through a rough patch of loosing a consistent producer like Malkin, Crosby or Guentzel. I like that he could actually give Letang a bit of a rest too. You won’t need him for 30 min a night anymore and that should keep a bit of tread on the tires.
