The lyrics to Fábula's song La Cal are sung from the perspective of a person who is comparing themselves to quicklime, which is used to stabilize sandy soil, particularly in construction or building. The person sees themselves as necessary for stability, but at the same time, they are elusive like a wolf of the sea under the full moon. If nothing seems to exist, the person is present, but if you wait for them, they never arrive. The person also compares themselves to the light of a flare, with all its glitter always reminding them of the unfulfilled dreams of their heart. They feel distant from their loved one, spending the whole winter away from them while still loving them as much as ever.
However, the person chooses to be crazy rather than sane because of the broken and sick world they live in, suggesting they would rather have the freedom that comes with insanity rather than be restricted by societal norms. The second verse finds the person saying that they have a part of their loved one inside of them, even though they made mistakes and caused despair. Without the love of the person, they feel that they are dying, but everything has changed in the end. Still, they love this person more than ever.

3 años después del final de esta banda y parece que su huella es mas profunda de lo esperado. Nos quedamos con mucho mono de sus directos, sus letras que cada uno puede interpretar diferente según sus emociones y vivencias. Les debemos mucho pero ellos también nos deben no? No es fácil soportar ese mono, se nos hacen pocos discos, pocas canciones y muchos andamos pendientes de una señal que nos diga que aun es posible verles juntos. Este detalle de la warner es un ejemplo. gracias
