He currently owns an independent record label called Bahd Guys Records. He released his debut album Wazup Guy in 2014. His second album, Stories That Touch, was released in 2015. He released a third album titled 27 on his birthday in 2017. In 2019, he released his fourth studio album Moral Instruction. He is very popular for making humorous music that depict the hectic life of a regular Nigerian and politically inclined music that criticizes immorality, controversial religious practices and corruption in government. He is also a very vocal advocate of human rights and was at the forefront of the END SARS Protests against police brutality and impunity in 2020.

In Falz's song "Hypocrite," the artist exposes the hypocrisy prevalent among individuals in society. Falz highlights how people pretend to be perfect, like they have no flaws or shortcomings. He states that individuals behave like they are superhuman, immortal or that they do not require any help. People treat themselves like gods; therefore, they act like it's beneath them to help one another or even be humble enough to admit their wrongs. Falz further critiques people who claim to be religious but are corrupt or practice vices that go against their religious beliefs. He also addresses people who claim to be morally upright and admirable publicly, but in reality, they make reprehensible decisions behind closed doors.
Although people continually emphasize their moral principles and human rights, Falz observes that some are still hypocritical when it comes to some topics like homosexuality. While people refer to themselves as modern and progressive, they still choose to discriminate against people who choose a different sexual orientation. Falz concludes the song by saying that even he recognizes that he too can fall short of his expectations and that everyone is, in fact, a hypocrite.

Falz keeps pushing the bounds with his cinematic interpretations of his views on society.
The video opens with Demmie Vee in a public toilet with a long queue of people outside waiting on him to finish. This is actually a play on the line "people just dey do like say Dem no dey shit" meaning that the people outside would have probably insulted his prolonged use of the toilet as if they themselves wouldn't do worse if they were in the same position.
The Camera follows someone who might be a house help going to clean the house she's employed, where she stumbles on her praying Madam, who turns on her immediately and starts abusing possibly for neglecting the same chore the house help was about to do. It's obvious her eyes are cloudy white, as if to seem she's possessed.
The video rolls through and it depicts various atrocities people do everyday but their eyes are obviously clouded.
Their eyes being clouded is reference to the song's message about being Hypocrites, because they would pretend to be the very same thing they are not. This is seen in the man who is gentlemanly to his wife until he gets possessed and bears his wife.
The cloudy eyes could also mean they are blind to their conscience when they perpetuate these acts.
Or they blame these acts on being possessed by the devil. Hence the very popular phrase, "it was the work of the devil o" people use when they want to absolve themselves of the consequences and responsibilities of their actions.
It's important to note that the nation's electoral process is highlighted for the sham that is, thanks to the perverse security operatives whose jobs were to ensure a secure, free and fair election.
Notice their eyes didn't cloud, this was probably to infer that they had lost their conscience long ago and didn't need to be possessed to act like demons.
Also at the point where the politician was declaring his manifesto, an aide of his is seen sharing foodstuffs to the masses which they pay more attention to than the speech, this is to depict that the average masses would rather vote for if you fed his belly than if you fed his mind.
The scene with the lawmaker signing the anti-gay bill is rather unclear. Is falz saying Gay people should have rights too and should be treated equally and that the bill is irrational as its assembly that signed it or is he saying that despite they signed such bills they are Hypocrites to the laws they made for they still lay with Gay people?.. A sensitive subject but it's clarity is somewhat muddled between the lines and the imagery.
The television scenes depicts all the HYPOCRITES with their clouded eyes. Falz is on the TV and is still seen trying to speak to their consciences but it is quite obvious that they are either blinded or possessed by their religion, doctrine , power, wealth as they all watch the TV unmoved and unchanged, running through their motions and routines as if they were robots.
Great voclas from Demmie Vee, his voice conveyed the emotion necessary for this song. Falz has once again outdone himself with this video, despite giving a clever show with the Curriculum.
