Haa haa
I feel your pulse
The tick of time
You're part of a bloodstream
Part of mine
Something to die for
We're alright now
We're not there yet
But we're holding on
And I believe you, yeah
You're coursing through my veins
Through my bloodstream, my bloodstream
And I still need you, yeah
Coursing through my veins
Through my bloodstream, my bloodstream
I felt your rush
A hurricane
I'm overcome
I'm so far gone, yeah
You're not done
And I believe you, yeah
You're coursing through my veins
Through my bloodstream, my bloodstream
And I still need you, yeah
Coursing through my veins
Through My bloodstream, my bloodstream
Through My bloodstream
Through My bloodstream
Through My bloodstream
And I believe you, yeah
You're coursing through my veins
Through my bloodstream, my bloodstream
And I still need you, yeah
Coursing through my veins
Through My bloodstream, my bloodstream
Through my bloodstream
The lyrics of Ferry Corsten Ruben de Ronde's song Bloodstream express the singer's intense connection and dependence on their lover. The opening lines set the tone with the reference to feeling the pulse and recognizing that the other person is part of their bloodstream. There is a sense of something being built, and it's described as something worth dying for, which suggests it's valuable and important. The singer acknowledges that everything isn't perfect, but they're holding on, and they still need the other person coursing through their bloodstream.
The next verse continues with the theme of the other person being like a rush of adrenaline or a hurricane. The singer is overcome and far gone, suggesting a loss of control. There is the sense that the other person is not finished yet, which could imply an uncertain future, but it also maintains the intensity of the moment. The chorus is repeated twice more and drives home the idea of the other person coursing through their veins and bloodstream. There is a deep, physical connection that is essential to the singer's well-being.
Overall, the lyrics of Bloodstream are centered around an intense physical and emotional connection. It's about experiencing someone almost like a drug and needing them on a deep level. The chorus is repetitive, which emphasizes the point of the song and creates the sense of the other person flowing through the bloodstream, becoming a part of the singer's being.
