The band's 2008 debut release 'Changes' caught the ears and hearts of many, making them one of the biggest acts playing metalcore with a melodic hardcore influence. Their second full length, 'Relentless', was released in 2009. Back Burner was released on May 24, 2011 through Rise Records.

dude this band is awesome, i saw them with in the midst of lions, motionless in white, chelsea grin and for today, a lot of people wouldn't mosh to them for some reason i have no clue why they shook the whole place with crushing breakdowns and everything. they are great.

You're right. I saw them right after their first vocalist left and dylan came on board. They were still doing their old songs then and were fucking killing it. The thing they had going for them was their style. I to feel like they changed bad. You just can't beat changes. By far one of the best hardcore Cds ever.

Shiiiit I remember sitting down with this album when it dropped to learn guitar and drums on it. The drums were SO fun esp this song, remember watching the drummers at home practice vids and the chops he had were so fuckin interesting. His china cymbal is straight 🔥🔥🔥

@coolsk8er465 They never had a very steady bassist or rythem guitarist, Andrew (Their Drummer) said he didn't like the direction they were going in, and joined The Ghost Inside. Chad (The vocalist in Changes), Im not 100% sure, but I think he left for the similar reasons. Chad's band is now Legend. There doesn't seem to be any bad blood between any former members since Legend and FTFD are on the same label and TGI and FTFD get along well

Other than the fact that Chad was a part of the band for the only good songs FTFD made, FTFD only having one original member, Legend touring extensively in the UK at the moment, and Legend's third album in the works, yeah, filled with regret.

I'm a little prejudice against Dylan, I can't say I've given any new FTFD a chance. It's a little sad on my part, but I'm not really losing any sleep over it. I'm sure FTFD is doing awesome because they're still releasing videos and touring, but most metal/hardcore bands, it's all about the people, because they're all starting to sound the same. IMO

Yeah, but this band doesn't stand for what they used to, they don't have the same members that they used to, and they don't sound anything like they used to. New FTFD doesn't deserve to be called FTFD in my opinion, there's nothing FTFD about them. I'm not saying it's terrible, I'm not saying it sucks. I'm saying it's NOT For The Fallen Dreams.
