Between the Lines
Fractured Lyrics

of our narrow minds.
Just wait and soon you´ll see,
our hearts are empty.
Our sockets are unseen,
the ultimate machine.
You can say your prayers,
They died giving us a future.
They cry as we took away their past.
We lied when we promised liberation.
Genocide for freedom, logic unsurpassed.
The pain the agony,
it´s all you´ll ever see.
All your suffering,
it doesn´t mean a thing.
We will never know,
just how far you´ll go,
until the time is nigh,
until we all must die.
They died giving us a future.
They cry as we took away their past.
We lied when we promised liberation.
Genocide for freedom, logic unsurpassed.
The song "Between the Lines" by Fractured speaks of the narrow-mindedness of human beings and how it leads to empty hearts. The singer urges the listeners to read between the lines of their thoughts and try to see beyond their limited perspectives. The lyrics describe the human mind as an ultimate machine with unseen sockets, indicating the complexity and depth of our thoughts. The lyrics suggest that despite all efforts, prayers and faith in a higher power no longer have any effect on humanity.
The second verse of the song delves into the past and how through acts of genocide for freedom, people took away the future of the ones who gave them lives. The lyrics speak of the agony and suffering that are all that humans will ever know, and no matter our pains, it will not mean a thing. The song ends with a poignant reminder that we will never know the extent of our capabilities until we face the end, until we all must die.

Actually, I'm quite open with forms of music myself, from metal, industrial to classical. I'm a headbanger, but I can also sit back and enjoy piano. Dubstep? No, I don't dislike ALL of it. Just the shit that has no effort put into it such as "Oh, chorus! Lets dub the alpha channel!" Instead of making the song intricate enough to call 'hard work'. That's what I appreciate is the work put into something. Not necessarily the outcome as strange as that may sound.
