Now that I really think of it, this was the last Pokémon game that I had played as a generally innocent kid. This was also the game that got me staying with the franchise, even with the whole “Pokémon doesn’t have to be just for babies” spiel.

Even with all of Pokémon’s issues that seem to come and go, this franchise and the community/friends I’ve made from it. I’m glad that this game kept me with it. For the 4 people that will even read this comment, I thank you for your time.

Perfect music for tending your berry patch. I wish they would bring back growing your own berries, my Pokémon lived off sitrus and leppa berries in gen 6 lol, and plus it was just a lot of fun to collect and cultivate all the rare berries.

Ohhh, yeah bro!!! I had 999 oran berries 😂 and then i doscovered sitrus beries. Or when you tried to pick the berries but a pokemon had attacked them. And the compound! Gen 6 was fire!

I love this theme. I've devoted more hours to my pokemon Y game than any other pokemon game (still a little disappointed we didn't get a pokemon z) and I would often return to Camphrier at the end of a play session, so this theme is ingrained in my brain. my headcannon is that it's where my character moved to after becoming champion and set up base in the empty castle there

I remember as a kid I would always work on the berry farm when I'm in this part of town, I also loved this music and I remember capturing the Snorlax with a premier ball lol

Two things I think about when I think/play Gen 6:
1) These games have the last good soundtrack. I find I have a lot of the tracks stuck in my head.
2) The last generation of new games that were halfway decent. Gens 7 & 8 do not compare, in my opinion.
