Ghosts have played in the U.K. at V Festival in Staffordshire and Chelmsford. They were busy writing and recording their second album in a Swedish island of Marstrand however nothing became of it. However on 17th February 2011 they released 2 demos and a press release about their reforming, through myspace (ghostsuk).

I can't take another second of this excuse for taste,
Take a chance
Stay the night
Oh why don't we take a taxi back to mine,
I'm sure that we'll find a way to pass the time,
Take a chance
And stay the night
If it's a question of timing, I'll wait
If there's a reason I'll right, always
I gave you the night, coz I know what I found
I think of you and my heart beats a little louder
A little louder
I can't decide if you're giving me a sign,
Well maybe you are just like this all the time,
Take a chance
Stay the night
Oh please don't tell me you're worried you might find
When morning comes you regret you crossed that line,
Take a chance
Stay the night
If it's a question of timing, I'll wait
If there's a reason I'll right, always
I gave you the night, coz I know what I found
I think of you and my heart beats a little louder
If it's a question of timing, I'll wait
If there's a reason I'll right, always
I gave you the night, coz I know what I found
I think of you and my heart beats a little louder
My heart beats a little louder
I tell you my heart beats a little louder
Oh, stay the night
Stay the night
Stay the night, come on
(Stay The Night)
The lyrics to Ghosts's song "Stay The Night" talk about the singer's desire to spend the night with someone they are attracted to. The song starts with the singer expressing their frustration with the current situation they are in at four in the morning. They express how they cannot take another second of this "excuse for a taste," indicating that they are longing for something more exciting. They then invite the person they are interested in to take a chance on them, suggesting that they should go back to the singer's place together. The singer is confident that they will find a way to pass the time and enjoy each other's company.
The chorus of the song talks about the singer's willingness to wait for the other person if the timing is not right. They are willing to put in the effort to make this work because they know what they have found in the other person. The singer's heart beats a little louder when they think of the other person, indicating their strong feelings for them. In the second verse, the singer expresses their confusion about whether the other person is giving them signs of mutual interest or if they are always like this.
Overall, "Stay The Night" is a song about taking a chance on someone you are attracted to and being willing to put in the effort to make it work. The chorus emphasizes the importance of timing and how the singer is willing to wait for the other person. The song has a catchy melody and the lyrics are relatable for anyone who has ever been interested in someone and wanted to spend more time with them.

Itâs not on Amazon Music Unlimited either. It must be a licensing issue - apparently the band had a long legal tussle with their record label Atlantic, so maybe itâs Atlanticâs way of getting back at them by refusing to release it for streaming. If thatâs the case then itâs just spiteful. Either way both the band (or at least its former members) AND the record company are both losing out on streaming revenue so itâs a lose/lose situation. Itâs a shame, as the only way of accessing this great song, if you donât own it on CD or vinyl, appears to be here on YouTube.

Really reminds of me my times working in Currys as a 17 year old back 2007. It would always play on the music channels on the TV's.
