1. A dance/electro-rock band from Belgium
Formed in the summer of 2000, they won the Belgian National Humo Rock Rally which led to a live session on the Belgian Radio One and MTV equivalent. Later in 2002 they recorded the debut single 'Audience' with producer Teo Miller (Placebo - Nancy Boy). In 2006 they released their first full album 'Bring It On' (on the Skint label).
Dave Martijn was the temporary tour bassist for fellow Belgian band Soulwax whilst on the promotional tour for 'Any Minute Now' between 2004-2006.
Goose started out as a AC/DC cover band, but they quickly found their own agenda by absorbing great amount of synth into the musical system. Belgium is located just between France and Germany – and in the same manner, Goose are the sound of an intense duel between Kraftwerk and Daft Punk at a lay-by in the Benelux.

Bring It On
Goose Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Tonight you're my dart
She says keep it tight
You sure what I did
You hold I commit
You take what I owe
You know some ain't right
She say keep it tight
Come home some ain't nice
Tonight lost in sight
Can't take, take no more
I believe a beat like thunder
You're moving on
The crowd go wild
The lyrics of the song Bring It On by Goose contain a series of phrases that are somewhat enigmatic and cryptic. The song appears to be focused on a relationship of sorts that is complicated and fraught with tension. The first line of the song, "Bring it on what you got" could be interpreted as an invitation to someone to come forward and challenge the singer, or it could be a declaration of confidence and strength from the singer. The line "Tonight you're my dart" could be interpreted as the singer viewing the person they are addressing as a weapon to be used for their own purposes.
Other lines in the song suggest that the relationship is not a healthy one, with lyrics like "Come home some ain't nice" hinting at potential abuse or mistreatment. The line "Can't take, take no more" suggests that the singer has reached their breaking point, and that they can no longer tolerate the situation that they find themselves in. The final lines of the song, "I believe a beat like thunder, You're moving on, The crowd go wild" suggest that the singer has found a way out of the situation and is now reveling in their newfound freedom and independence.
All in all, the song Bring It On by Goose is a complex and challenging piece of music that requires reflection and interpretation by the listener. Its themes of power, control, and empowerment resonate with many people, making it a song that is both emotionally powerful and intellectually stimulating.
