The band started out playing death metal. They changed their style after their first demo tape Introduction in 1992, became a classical/medieval/metal band and produced two albums dealing with the seer Michel de Notredame in the dark days of The Black Plague in Europe. The album And Thou Shalt Trust... The Seer marked their breakthrough in 1997. After their second album Awaking The Centuries, they toured through Mexico twice. They are quite famous and well known in South America, almost more so than in Germany. In 2004 they released their third album Eppur si muove; the theme of which is about the life of the famous Italian scholar Galileo Galilei.
Just before their album Awaking The Centuries the band had its highest number of musicians at 21. Currently the ensemble consists of 16 musicians. All their songs are written by vocalist and guitarist Asis Nasseri.
An album named Grimm was announced for release by the end of 2012, although still hadn't been released by 2023.

Haggard Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
that the same God who has endowed us
with sense, reason and intellect
has intended us to forgo their use"
So all the stars
Will guide us on our way
The Sextant as a leader
Look at the amazing skies
In long and profund discoveries
With a strong and a clear mind he's encrypting
More secrets of astronomy
In endless nights
He entirely observes the skies
His publications will change the world
Galileo Galilei
Only what my eyes will see, I will believe!
Day and night - separated by the light
In Pisa he's required
To teach the theory
That the stars and all the planets
Revolve around the earth
But he believed
In a different truth
The heliocentric one
Proposed by Kopernikus
A new age has begun
The stolen sun
Makes their fear rise
And man will sacrifice
The moon is the reason why
Look at the amazing skies
In long and profound discoveries
With a strong and a clear mind he's encrypting
More secrets of astronomy
In endless nights
He entirely observes the skies
His publications will change the world
Galileo Galilei
And all the servants of the cross - they will deny
Will deny the starlight
In Pisa he's required
To teach the theory
That the stars and all the planets
Revolve around the earth
But he believed
In a different truth
The heliocentric one
Proposed by Kopernikus
A new age has begun
[Music: A. Nasseri / Lyrics: A. Nasseri]
The first stanza of this song is a quote from Galileo Galilei, an Italian astronomer, physicist, and mathematician who is widely known as the father of observational astronomy, modern physics, and science. The quote speaks to the idea that humans are given the gift of intelligence and logic and that using these gifts to understand the world around us is not against any kind of divine plan. The next stanza praises the role of the observer in unlocking the secrets of the universe through their tireless study of the night sky. The titular "Observer" is likely a reference to Galileo himself, who famously and boldly proposed that the earth revolves around the sun, a belief that was controversial and contrary to the teachings of the Catholic Church at the time.
In the third stanza, the lyrics directly reference the persecution Galileo faced for his beliefs during his lifetime. He was summoned by church officials to retract his claims, and his work was banned by the church for over 200 years. The "stolen sun" and "man will sacrifice" likely refer to the idea that Galileo's persecution was a direct result of the Catholic Church's belief that his ideas threatened their power and control over society. The final stanza once again references the fact that Galileo was required to teach a theory that went against his own beliefs, but he persisted in advocating for the heliocentric model of the solar system proposed by Copernicus, ushering in a new age of scientific discovery.

They did a study on the messages that the brain sends to the heart..
and somehow discovered that the heart sends more messages to the brain, than it receives.. by a bunch.
They didn’t know why, nor did any of the researchers dare speculate the reasons for this
I myself thought right from the start one possible reason.. Could it be, that
the observer is within your very heart, and the reason throughout history things were always heartfelt.. or in your heart of hearts you knew
Infact the strongest feelings of what is right, or wrong.. let alone.. When falling in love..
are all from your heart, and seems to always shape your thoughts, long before the what some say is rational thinking, that you may think is in your brain..?
Any chance of this being the observer? It makes you think about the way you treat them, and or me as in you’re own self.. esteem of the pride and ownership in lifelong caring relationships.
Be good to others who have been made to believe that they have a purpose in their own life, and Forgivness is the blessing that you allowed to give yourself not just to these others.,
1. Because in doing all that means is you’re wanting to change!! Think about it
