It's Not a Problem

Didn't mean to be so let down
I don't know why he left the room
Couldn't keep his attention
I'll be switching off soon
It's never going to happen
Feel like I've been put in my place
A secret admirer for life
It's what's left of my collapsing night
Who do I lean my ladder against
To get over my embarrassment
I want him without regret
I want it written in cement
Such a sucker for attention
To wipe the dust off my still life
The drink in my hand ain't no prop
It's what's left of my collapsing night
I'm not moving
I can't calm down
I won't say anything
I won't remember any names
I'm not moving
I can't calm down
I won't remember anything
I'm just going back to bed
Prosecute myself all night
I'm my own biggest threat
Said nothing wrong but I can't get it right
The lyrics to Heatmiser's song "It's Not a Problem" delve into the feelings of someone who is grappling with loneliness and social anxiety. The first stanza portrays the singer shutting down, both literally and figuratively, as they are unable to interest others enough to keep them engaged in conversation. The lyrics "It's never going to happen" and "secret admirer for life" convey a deep sense of resignation and isolation.
In the second stanza, the singer craves attention and affection but cannot seem to find it, lamenting that they are left feeling embarrassed and unsure of how to move forward. The lyrics "Who do I lean my ladder against to get over my embarrassment" highlight the struggle to overcome their feelings of inadequacy and self-doubt. The final stanza finds the singer retreating further into themselves, choosing to "prosecute" themselves rather than face the prospect of interacting with others.
Overall, the song is a poignant reflection on the difficulties of human connection and the toll that social anxiety can take on one's emotional wellbeing.

Oh yes, let's have trendy underfloor heating...
But,
it costs more to run?
Takes longer to heat the house?
Is less environmentally friendly?
More complex so more things to go wrong?
More complex so installation relatively expensive?
Servicing more expensive and specialised?
No radiators to hang your wet/damp socks?
Is underfloor heating really a good idea?
Oh yes, I'll be trendy.
Good vid.

Great video, shows that some plumbers need to go on a training course for this stuff, like the way you used the wago connectors so tidy.I have under floor heating off to check the valves :)

That's a Worcester Junior Combi boiler which is over 10 years old, it was most likely fitted correctly and the builder or someone has used the existing set up to connect to under floor heating manifold. The system Will most likely need an additional expansion vessel and a new boiler soon. It's not always the plumber at fault, normally the client or builder doesn't want to pay to have the job done correctly I see this all the time.

I come across so many UFH installs where sparks and plumbers have no idea what they're doing. Mainly because they don't train heating engineers anymore to the same standard. It's pretty simple sadly but who ever was working on it was definitely out of their depth.

Thanks for the vid, do you find the cause of the faulty loop? Assume if it was a kink, the whole floor would need to be taken up to fix?

When you added your new 2 port valve did you all install a bypass?? If not (doesn't look like you have), pot Kettle??

Crazy how UFH was not separate from upstairs, was never going to work

squawkparrot , it all come down to system design for it be a good system, ie controls and pipework design.
underfloor is best with weather compensation controls and electronic mixer . Also pipework work design is a big factor especially with ufh mixed with other circuits , should always hydraulically separate the ufh system if not can cause alot of issues ie back flow or rads not as hot when underfloor is on ,much higher flow rate than your other circuit ect... pumps will be fighting against each other ect... when designed properly works very efficient , costing wise is expensive to install but if the system is installed correctly its efficient to run so over the years it will save u on gas bills ect...

They are flow meters on the top which measures flow rate per minute not bar pressure 🤦♂️🤦♂️

Great video, but just a comment (apart from me shouting at the screen from the first minute “the pumps on the wrong way round!!)
The flow meters at the top. are, well…..Flow meters. They are not pressure meters, or designed to indicate pressure. They indicate the flow as litres per minute.

Thanks for the tip!
