1) Heavy Load was a heavy metal band from Stockholm, Sweden. Formed in 1976 by the brothers Ragne (vocals and guitar) and Styrbjörn Wahlquist (vocals and drums), together with bassist Michael Backlund.
In 1977 Heavy Load recorded their first album "Full Speed at High Level" (released 1978), now with Dan Molén on the bass.
After their debut, Ex-Highbrow guitarist was added to the lineup as well as Torbjörn Ragnesjö (A cousin of the Wahlquist brothers), replacing Dan Molén. This line-up released the EP "Metal Conquest" and the two full- length albums "Death or Glory" (1982) and "Stronger than Evil" (1983) on their own record label before breaking up. "Stronger than Evil" even featured renowned bass player Phil Lynott on the song "Free". Heavy Load was known in Sweden and also had a following in Japan, but in spite of this they never made any real commercial breakthrough. A last try was made in 1985 with the single "Monsters of the Night", featuring bassist Andreas Fritz, but the band split up shortly after.
In 1987, the Wahlquist Bros. kickstarted the band again and recorded an album together with ex-UFO bassist Paul Gray and guitarist Patrik Karlsson. The album was never released, though. Years later though, a cover of "Run with the Devil" was recorded by another Swedish metal band, Hammerfall, featuring backing vocals by the Wahlquist brothers.
2) Heavyload are Brighton's punk outfit, ambition, fantasy, expectation and desire that fuels the band. But they’re also uniquely, made up of musicians with and without learning disabilities.
Still There Is Time
Heavy Load Lyrics

'Cause there'll be a disaster
Caused by war or pollution
Soon we're all gonna die
Let's go for that star
I know it's not very far
Time for life
Still there is time
Time for you and I
Man has polluted the air, I say
Man that is we all together
It's for your own wellfare, they say
We kill ourselves to live
Let's go for that star
I know it's not very far
Still there is time
Time for life
Still there is time
Time for you and I
The lyrics of Heavy Load's song "Still There Is Time" addresses the current global crisis of environmental pollution and the threat of a nuclear war. The lines "They say it's all for nothing / 'Cause there'll be a disaster / Caused by war or pollution / Soon we're all gonna die," express the pessimism of those who believe that humanity is on the brink of extinction due to its own destructive actions. However, the song offers hope, even in the face of the overwhelming crisis. The lines "Still there is time / Time for life / Still there is time / Time for you and I," expresses the belief that even though we are running out of time, it is not too late to make a difference, to save ourselves and planet Earth.
The lines "Man has polluted the air, I say / Man that is we all together / It's for your own welfare, they say / We kill ourselves to live," speak to the paradoxical significance of humanity's actions. While polluting and harming the environment, we are ultimately harming ourselves, since we depend on the environment for survival. The lines suggest that we may be aware of the damage we are causing, but to live, we must continue to cause harm.
Overall, the lyrics of "Still There Is Time" exudes a sense of desperation mixed with hope. The song acknowledges the dire situation humanity finds itself in yet encourages people to take action before it is too late.
