Jared Leto:When I told everyone I was gonna be the Joker,everyone laughed at me.Well,no one’s laughing now!”
Joaquin Phoenix:You can say that again,pal.
(Maniacal laughter and applause)
Tip to Leto:You don’t need to send dead rats and used condoms to your co-stars,even if you’re preparing for the role of a homicidal maniac.
Just do your research,set a tone,and collaborate with your director,script writer,Hell,the entire f*cking crew!!
In short,Be like Joaquin Phoenix.
@sofiyanali2489
So sorry that happened to you.That’s really one of the best things about this movie.
In previous iterations if The Joker character,you never root for him (except TDK).You always say “God,that’s evil.Why would he do that?!?”
In this iteration,Joaquin beautifully captures a man who’s had one too many bad days,an entire life of them,to be exact.Every time he kills,you feel disgusted,it feels wrong.Because at the same time,it’s emotionally satisfying,since everyone he’s killed has wronged him,in one way or another.
Unlike the MCU movies (Don’t get me wrong,I love them),which mainly exist as fan service,Joker dives head-first into the mind of its titular character,and you get to see why he became who he is today,why he became an agent of death,destruction and chaos.
And instead of deeply analyzing this movie for its underlying themes,the critics say what they always say about movies that address society as a whole,that it’ll inspire mass shootings,that we should condone the actions of criminals.Screw them.
Joker is a f*cking MASTERPIECE!!!!

It's sad man to watch Arthur trying to tell a joke but being overwhelmed by laughter.

@akshay Viswambharan Yeah i feel the same for Arthur that was his dream and it broke that was the moment when i teared up but i didn't stop my self cause i know i have a alive heart. i never feel so sad and pity for fictional character as well but this film hit me that deep even know when i think about Arthur i almost teared up. A true Masterpiece salute to Todd and Joaquin to make this. this film show us there a many people around us who might need our compassion a tap on the back but we don't notice them cause they are shy or less confidence but have to show compassion to everyone. other wise people like Arthur stay alone with pain of no love. you said well.

@@serhatkoc5766 😀 you are right

It hurts more when Murray plays the video on National Television.
@robomop9711
He was so happy to see himself on TV, only for that feeling to come crashing down a few seconds later.
@bakoe7604
Hiram Mendoza I love the movie but i do find it a little weird. Doesn’t the world know exactly who Joker is after that?
@azazel_-or5pm
@@bakoe7604 They do. But it really doesn't matter. Arthur Fleck isn't his original name. And the world knowing his identity won't prevent him from committing crime.
