Current members of the Hillsong United band include Joel Houston, Jonathon Douglass (J.D.), Jadwin "Jad" Gillies, Matt Crocker, Taya Smith, Dylan Thomas (on rhythm guitar), Timon Klein (on lead guitar), Peter James & Benjamin Tennikoff (on keyboards), Adam Crosariol (on bass guitar), and Simon Kobler (on drums).
The annual Hillsong United CD/DVD is recorded during their October youth conference Encounterfest; the album is released in February the following year. The 2007 Hillsong United album "All of the Above" was released on the 17th of March. Unlike all of the previous United albums, this CD was studio recorded.
To date in 2008, Hillsong United have released the first part of the I Heart Revolution recordings; 'With Hearts as One', made live around the world during the band's recent tours. The CD features previously released United tracks recorded live in different locations, and the first installment of a live DVD.
In 2009, they released 'Across the Earth: Tear down the walls', followed by 'A F T E R M A T H' on February 15th 2011.
On February 14, 2012, 'LIVE IN MIAMI (Welcome to the Aftermath)' was released. It contained songs from both the album Aftermath, and several other of their greatest hits, such as "The Stand," "With Everything," and "Your Name High." It was also the first fully recorded Hillsong United tour.
In 2013, United continued to their long string of worship albums withcompletely new material entitled Zion. Mixing a new digital sound, and their signature lyrics, they topped charts globally, and Zion became Hillsong United's highest selling album. Some songs include Oceans (Where Feet May Fail), Scandal Of Grace, Relentless, Love Is War, and Nothing Like Your Love. In late 2013, after the massive success of their song Oceans (Where Feet May Fail), United released an entire EP entitled Oceans. Not too long afterwards, United released an acoustic version of the album Zion, and in March 2014, they released their first remix album entitled "The White Album Project".

It was a dream..
I was in a huge green pasture with beautiful rolling hills just walking around with a lot of dirty people and we were all praying for each other. As we're praying a loud voice started signing so we all joined in on the song "Closer Than You Know", that I have personally never heard before.
While we were worshiping I felt a man tap my shoulder so I turned around and he was point up while the verse of the song was

As we’re looking up we can see the most beautiful sight. The only way I can describe it was several massive golden bars floating in the sky glistening like beautiful diamonds.. We were all crying because Jesus was giving us a sign they he is near and not to worry about the constant chaos in the world today.
Then I instantly woke up and realized I was listening to Hillsong United on my ear buds. The most bizarre part of the dream was that I've never heard that Sony before and the fact that the man tapped on my shoulder right before the specific verse about lifting up your eyes and notice that Heaven is closer than you know is just nothing short of a vision from God himself. :)

During our entire trip, Joel wanted to get this song under an olive tree - like the one in the Garden of Gethsemane where Jesus would have prayed for us. We were exhausted, but our team had found the perfect location—the third location of the day. We set up the full record system and went for it. What we got we feel is a little bit special—and hopefully it captures what Jesus may have thought about us in His last moments. The whole experience in Israel was surreal and even the thought of Jesus thinking of us as He lived His last moments is confronting.
