To date in 2008, Hillsong United have released the first part of the I Heart Revolution recordings; 'With Hearts as One', made live around the world during the band's recent tours. On February 14, 2012, 'LIVE IN MIAMI (Welcome to the Aftermath)' was released. It contained songs from both the album Aftermath, and several other of their greatest hits, such as "The Stand," "With Everything," and "Your Name High." It was also the first fully recorded Hillsong United tour.
In 2013, United continued to their long string of worship albums withcompletely new material entitled Zion. Mixing a new digital sound, and their signature lyrics, they topped charts globally, and Zion became Hillsong United's highest selling album. Some songs include Oceans (Where Feet May Fail), Scandal Of Grace, Relentless, Love Is War, and Nothing Like Your Love. In late 2013, after the massive success of their song Oceans (Where Feet May Fail), United released an entire EP entitled Oceans. Not too long afterwards, United released an acoustic version of the album Zion, and in March 2014, they released their first remix album entitled "The White Album Project".
Street Called Mercy
Hillsong United Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Not knowing which way to go
I collapsed on a street called mercy
I was found in You
Throwing Your arms around me
You held me like I was Yours
Like You'd been there the whole time waiting
Wrapped up in scarlet kindness
You welcomed this sinner home
Now I breathe in the air of heaven
All I want is You
Keep me within Your shadow
Lord tether my heart to Yours
I want nothing without Your presence
All I want is You
You are all I want
You are all I need
Every breath I take
Is a breath to say
I am Yours now forever
The first verse in Hillsong United's song "Street Called Mercy" talks about feeling lost and tired from endless walking without direction. It is as though the songwriter is struggling in life and not knowing which way to turn. But on this street called mercy, the writer finds a savior. The use of the word collapsed here suggests complete physical exhaustion and despair. Then comes the chorus, which speaks of how God wrapped His arms around the songwriter, holding them like they were His all along. As if the writer was always meant to find this street of mercy and be found by God.
The second verse talks about God's kindness. This scarlet kindness which welcomed the writer back home. This represents forgiveness, acceptance, and the opening of one's arms to a lost soul. In the last two lines, the songwriter talks about how being with God fills them with pure happiness and overwhelming joy. The last chorus speaks of how all they need and want is God. The lines "You are all I want" and "You are all I need" show an unshakeable faith and trust in the Lord. The songwriter breathes every breath for God and wants nothing else. Nothing else can fill this void, nothing else can bring them peace.

Our intention for this video was to find a location that would accurately represent the struggle of life and the redeeming power of God's mercy. We believe that the contrasting images we captured in this production are not only visually striking, but they also perfectly embody the essence of the song.
One of the locations we chose was a barren street that leads directly to the Dead Sea. This area is marked by ruins and vandalism, which we believe are remnants of the British occupied territory from the early 1900s. The other location we filmed was the Via Dolorosa in Jerusalem, which is widely accepted as the path that Jesus walked while carrying his cross on the greatest journey of mercy ever known.

Who else is here in 2022 listening to this beautiful song?
@eggydrums
I've been listening to this band for years. Of Dirt and Grace has been without a doubt the best project they've put out. It has been such a blessing for me and for loved ones near to me.
@enochdotse1937
They make wonderful songs and albums. But personally my best pick is “OF DIRT AND GRACE”
