The lyrics to Hot Water Music's "Take It as It Comes" capture the essence of resilience and perseverance. The opening lines reflect the challenging and often unpredictable nature of life, with roads that lead to the unknown and tools that tax you to the bone. Despite these obstacles, the lyrics offer a ray of hope, emphasizing the importance of willpower and the determination to push on. This idea is accentuated in the chorus as the singer asks to be shown how to recognize the coming of a breakdown so that they can take it as it comes, dealing with what goes wrong with their chin always up and their feet planted sure in the ground.
