The lyrics of the song "Rote Wand" by Hubert Von Goisern are written in a traditional Austrian dialect, and may be challenging to interpret for those unfamiliar with the language. The song speaks of a woman named Holla-Radi-Eldi, and her interactions with a man on the mountainside. The chorus repeats the lines "holla-radi-eldi" several times, as if calling out to the woman. The verses describe the man's encounter with Holla-Radi-Eldi, and the dangers that he faces on the Rotwand mountain.
The first verse speaks of the woman screaming "juhee" in her dirndl dress, and the man's attempts to catch her attention. The second verse describes the man's journey up the mountain, and his interactions with a hunter who warns him to be careful. The final verse speaks of the man's fear of returning home, and the danger he senses in the darkness.
Overall, the "Rote Wand" is a cautionary tale of the dangers of the mountain, and the allure of a mysterious woman. The lyrics use vivid imagery and a traditional dialect to convey a sense of danger and excitement, for those daring enough to climb the Rotwand.
