"Dans ce rock cubiste, concassé, défoncé de breaks et riffs cosmiques, ils n’ont aujourd’hui de leçons à recevoir de personne : leur impatience, leur boulimie et leur frénésie sont désormais leurs seuls mentors."

Lonely Baby
Hyphen Hyphen Lyrics

The night is with us
And we're going to take that dance
My lonely baby, I know why you're sad
I know what you need
To keep the rhythm of the night
And I feel you're freaky
You want it but I know
Wanna play it in solo
And I never go back on my chorus
I never go back on my promises
My lonely baby
Baby, baby, baby
My lonely baby
Baby, baby, baby
Na na na na no
Na na na na na
Na na na na no
Na na na na na
Na na na na no
Na na na na na
Na na na na no
Na na na na na
My lonely lady
The clock is ticking
I know what you need
To keep the rhythm of the night
The devil's with us
Our time is precious
I know you've been hiding
In the middle of the light
I know what you are
And I feel you're freaky
You want it but I know
Wanna play it in solo
And I never go back on my chorus
I never go back on my promises
My lonely baby
Baby, baby, baby
My lonely baby
Baby, baby, baby
Na na na na no
Na na na na na
Na na na na no
Na na na na na
Na na na na no
Na na na na na
Na na na na no
Na na na na na
Dancefloors are sad when you're not dancing on my song
'Cause I feel what you feel and I bleed when you bleed
I'm coming, I'm coming alone
My lonely baby
Baby, baby, baby
My lonely baby
Baby, baby, baby
I know you want some more
I know what you're looking for
You know that's a lust for sure
You wanna, you wanna
Want some more
I know what you're looking for
You know that's a lust for sure
You wanna, you wanna
The song "Lonely Baby" by Hyphen Hyphen is a captivating and engaging piece that speaks about the need for companionship, the joy of dancing and letting go of one's inhibitions. The lyrics of the song reveal a message of hope and encouragement to someone who may be down and in need of a pickup. The opening lyrics, "My lonely baby, it's time to go ahead/The night is with us/And we're going to take that dance" suggest that the person being addressed has been feeling lonely and perhaps even downcast. The singer invites this individual to join them on the dance floor and embrace the night fully, letting go of any inhibitions.
The chorus of the song, with its repetition of the phrase "My lonely baby" emphasizes the singer's desire to connect with the person they're speaking to. They indicate that they understand the individual's sadness and know what it takes to keep the rhythm going during difficult times. The verse "I know what you are/And I feel you're freaky/You want it but I know/Wanna play it in solo" highlights the connection between the two individuals and their willingness to support one another.
The line "Dancefloors are sad when you're not dancing on my song/'Cause I feel what you feel and I bleed when you bleed" reveals the depth of the singer's attachment to the other individual. They indicate that the dance floor, a place of happiness and unity, is incomplete without this person, and they themselves feel incomplete without their companionship. Overall, the song encourages listeners to embrace life, seek and offer companionship, and celebrate the joys of dancing.
