2. Not only this Smooth Jazz band shares same band name, they have a song called "Millenium"(2006) that is exactly same title (intentionally misspelled) as the other Incognito's (Jazz Funk) song on their album "100° and Rising"(1995), plus the logo resembles in font. The title "Every Day"(2006) on the album Street Smarts exactly alike in titles (when read) with the other Incognito's famous tune "Everyday"(1995). They are often tagged totec radio. Also mis-tagged by fans as bluey where there's no link to Jean-Paul "Bluey" Maunick himself. r00ts & t4lk1n l0ud tags also used, that could mislead fans to the Bluey's famous tunes like "Roots" & "Talkin' Loud".

Show me the way to swim to the shore
From the ocean to you
You, you, you, you
Show me the way to swim to the shore
You are the light on the ocean floor
So say
You're gonna radiate around me
Sometimes life gets me so colourblind
Stepping on the wrong beat
Find a way to hit me
If I find a way out of my mind
Nothing's gonna stop me
Illuminating
You, you, you, you
Show me the way to swim to the shore
From the ocean to you
You can show me more
Show me the way to swim to the shore
From the ocean to you
You can show me more
Show me the way to swim to the shore
From the ocean to you
You can show me more
You, you, you, you
Show me the way
This wave is gonna wrap itself around me
You are the light
So say
You're gonna radiate around me
Sometimes life gets me so colourblind
Stepping on the wrong beat
Find a way to hit me
If I find a way out of my mind
Nothing's gonna stop me
Illuminating
Don't you know my life gets me so colourblind, colourblind
Stepping on the wrong beat
Find a way to hit me
Sometimes life gets me so colourblind
Stepping on the wrong beat
Find a way to hit me
Sometimes life gets me so colourblind, colourblind
Colourblind
The lyrics to Incognito's song "Colourblind" seem to be about feeling disconnected or lost in life, but finding solace and guidance in someone else. The ocean is used as a metaphor for the vastness and unpredictability of life. The singer is searching for a way to navigate their way out of their confused state, symbolized by swimming to the shore from the ocean. They are seeking guidance and direction from someone who holds the key to their clarity and happiness.
The line "You are the light on the ocean floor" suggests that the person they are addressing is a beacon of hope and understanding for them. This person has the power to bring light, guidance, and radiance to the singer's life. The repeated phrase "show me more" emphasizes the singer's desire for this person to reveal more of themselves, to help them further on their journey towards finding clarity and purpose.
The chorus repeats the sentiment that sometimes life can feel colorless and dull, as if they are seeing the world in black and white, or "colourblind". They mention stepping on the wrong beat, which could refer to feeling out of sync or out of touch with the rhythm of life. However, they express determination to find a way out of their confused state, vowing that nothing will stop them from illuminating their path and finding their way.
Overall, "Colourblind" seems to convey the universal struggle of feeling lost and disoriented in life, but finding hope and guidance through connections with others who can help bring clarity and purpose.
