2. Not only this Smooth Jazz band shares same band name, they have a song called "Millenium"(2006) that is exactly same title (intentionally misspelled) as the other Incognito's (Jazz Funk) song on their album "100° and Rising"(1995), plus the logo resembles in font. The title "Every Day"(2006) on the album Street Smarts exactly alike in titles (when read) with the other Incognito's famous tune "Everyday"(1995). They are often tagged totec radio. Also mis-tagged by fans as bluey where there's no link to Jean-Paul "Bluey" Maunick himself. r00ts & t4lk1n l0ud tags also used, that could mislead fans to the Bluey's famous tunes like "Roots" & "Talkin' Loud".

Get Into My Groove
Incognito Lyrics

Heads of nations rotten to the core
Tell me how are you gonna change the world
When you haven't got the love
I still remember your promise from the past
And here you are with another that won't last
You tell me how you're gonna change the world
Don't shake me by the hand
Pretend to understand
To get into my mind
You got to get into my groove
Step into my shoes
Come and feel my blues
To comprehend my life
You got to get into my groove
You say you're standing for the hungry and the weak
But your words are as hollow as the glory that you seek
Tell me how you're gonna change the world
When you haven't got the love
You want the world to see your point of view
But your eyes are closed to the pain we must undo
Tell me how you're gonna change the world
When you haven't got the love
Before you tell the world about the things that they should do
Stop and take a look what's going on inside of you
Divisions are the consequences of the games you play
Look inside you
The lyrics to Incognito's song "Get Into My Groove" are a commentary on the state of the world and the people in power who claim to want to change it. The song addresses politicians and heads of nations, calling them out for their hypocrisy and lack of empathy. The lyrics suggest that in order to truly understand someone's life and perspective, you need to "get into their groove", step into their shoes and feel their blues. This is the only way to comprehend the complexities of someone's life and understand the changes that need to be made.
The song also touches on the idea that change needs to start from within. Before anyone can change the world, they need to look at themselves and address their own shortcomings. The divisions in the world are a result of the games we play and the lack of love and understanding we have for each other. The lyrics are a call to action, asking people to stop pointing fingers and take a look at themselves if they truly want to make a difference.
