2. Not only this Smooth Jazz band shares same band name, they have a song called "Millenium"(2006) that is exactly same title (intentionally misspelled) as the other Incognito's (Jazz Funk) song on their album "100° and Rising"(1995), plus the logo resembles in font. The title "Every Day"(2006) on the album Street Smarts exactly alike in titles (when read) with the other Incognito's famous tune "Everyday"(1995). They are often tagged totec radio. Also mis-tagged by fans as bluey where there's no link to Jean-Paul "Bluey" Maunick himself. r00ts & t4lk1n l0ud tags also used, that could mislead fans to the Bluey's famous tunes like "Roots" & "Talkin' Loud".

Your Sun My Sky

Any day now you'll close the door, and walk away
I'll be picking through the pieces and wondering how it came to this
If things don't go the way you want it
Well that's the way it goes
These photographs remind me
Of all the things I said
On the day that we first met
But ain't that just like you baby
Ain't that just like you
Ain't that like you
Used to be your sun in my sky
It's all over and the days go by
Used to be your sun in my sky
It ain't been easy to slowly watch you go
I wonder if you know just what you're doin' to me
Knowing what we've been through before, what am I say
You've been acting strangely lately, so far away yet you're next to me
When things are not the way they should be
Gotta know when to let it go
These photographs remind me
Of all the things I said
And the promises I made you
On the day that we first met
But ain't that just like you baby
Ain't that just like you
Ain't that like you
Used to be your sun in my sky
It's all over and the days go by
Used to be your sun in my sky
It ain't been easy to slowly watch you go
You been doing me wrong
But I'd have you back if it were mine to choose
You been doing me wrong
But I'd still have you back if it were mine to choose
Used to be your sun in my sky
It's all over and the days go by
Used to be your sun in my sky
It ain't been easy to slowly watch you go
Used to be your sun in my sky
Till the clouds came over and the night set in
Used to be your sun in my sky
It ain't been easy to slowly watch you go, oh no
The lyrics of "Your Sun My Sky" by Incognito feat. Maysa explore the end of a relationship and the feelings of heartbreak and loss that come with it. The song is primarily focused on the singer's perspective and their struggles to come to terms with the fact that their partner is leaving them. The opening lines express the difficulty in finding the right words to say in the face of an impending breakup, and the sense of inevitability as their partner prepares to walk away. The singer is left to pick up the pieces and try to make sense of what went wrong.
The song references photographs as a reminder of the promises the singer made to their partner when they first met. The lyrics suggest that their partner may be at fault for the relationship falling apart, as they have been acting strangely and distant. However, despite feeling wronged by their partner's behavior, the singer still expresses a willingness to take them back if given the chance, highlighting the complexities of love and the conflicting emotions that arise when a relationship ends.
Overall, "Your Sun My Sky" is a poignant and emotional depiction of heartbreak and the challenges of moving on from a failed relationship. The song is a testament to the power of music as a means of expressing and cathartically processing difficult emotions.
