[Verse 1]
Don't let yourself be hurt this time
Don't let yourself be hurt this time
Then I saw your face
Then I saw your smile

[Chorus 1]
The sky is still blue
The clouds come and go
Yet something is different
Are we falling in love?

[Verse 2]
Don't let yourself be hurt this time
Don't let yourself be hurt this time
Then your kiss so soft
Then your touch so warm

[Chorus 2]
The stars still shine bright
The mountains still high
Yet something is different
Are we falling in love?

[Refrain]
Falling
Falling
Are we falling in love?

Angelo Badalamenti – Falling Lyrics

Don't let yourself be hurt this time
Don't let yourself be hurt this time

Then I saw your face
Then I saw your smile

The sky is still blue
The clouds come and go
Yet something is different
Are we falling in love?

Don't let yourself be hurt this time
Don't let yourself be hurt this time

Then your kiss so soft
Then your touch so warm

The stars still shine bright
The mountains still high
Yet something is different
Are we falling in love?

Falling, falling
Falling, falling in love
Falling, falling
Falling, falling in love

this theme was all over the show, literally being played every five minutes in a scene and with different variations, but I never got tired of it. it's so beautiful

Adaire Ya

Yea so so true. And a mind cooler 😌

@Lenny Rose Thanks! I hadn't heard the Ben Horne variation in decades. Love the Fender Rhodes.

It's so humbling... no matter the stress this song Center's you... really does. Therapeutic thru and thru x

Thats what is so trippy about this song for me. It never got old and it was literally played every five minutes. It made the final 30 minutes of season 2 that more intense when no music is played...

This song perfectly describes the town of Twin Peaks. On the surface, a sleepy little place that doesn't see much action, a vibe mirrored in the upbeat, entrancing synth. But lurking below the surface there's a dark world of crime and vice, reflected in the minor chords and mysterious baseline. It's such fantastic musical storytelling.

every time this plays, you enter the twin peaks world for another 45 minutes. it's really, really good.

Yes, an entirely different world!

@Barrett M yeah it’s always slow when Lynch directs
