Silverbirds's ancestors came by way of the Sonora Mountains into the Southwest area of Arizona and New Mexico. He comes from a spiritually oriented musical family of thespians who owned and toured with their highly recognized Circus & Vaudeville Show throughout the Tri-State area of Arizona, New Mexico & Colorado.

In addition to being an accomplished musician and actor, Silverbird has served on the board of directors of the American Indian College Fund and the American Indian Museum in New York and was president of the annual American Indian Nations Powwow.
