Or why I'm here, or why I'm doing what I'm doing
I guess I'll just go with whatever my name is
And take for word everything I've learned from my father
And my father's father
And they were making it up, making it all up
What else can we do?
It's the only way to get through
'Cause life's so hard but life's alright
Because I'm here with you tonight
Making it up, making it all up
Some people think the world revolves around them
And their beautiful child
Some people like to pile things up around them
And surround themselves with a beautiful lie
Yeah, we're making it up, we're making it all up
What else can we do?
Yeah, we're making it up, we're making it all up
It's the only way to get through
'Cause life's so hard but life's alright
Because I'm here with you tonight
Making it up, making it all up
And there's more to this life
More than what you see
And it's true what they say
That life is but a dream
So row your boat gently
Gently down that stream
And keep dreaming your dream
And keep making it up, making it all up
What else can we do?
Yeah, we're making it up, we're making it all up
It's the only way to get through
'Cause life's so hard but life's alright
Because I'm here with you tonight
Making it up, making it all up
The lyrics of Jason Mraz's song "Up" speak about the struggles that people face in their lives, and the ways in which they cope with them. The chorus of the song speaks about "making it all up," and how it is the only way to get through life. The verses of the song explore the different ways in which people deal with the challenges they face.
The first verse features the line "I may go through this life never knowing who I am," which speaks to a sense of uncertainty and may reflect the singer's own personal struggles with self-identity. The line "And they were making it up, making it all up/What else can we do?" is a reference to the fact that people often have to improvise in order to overcome obstacles. The second verse speaks to people's tendency to create a narrative or myth around their lives in order to cope with their struggles.
Overall, the song is a poignant reminder that life is unpredictable and sometimes difficult, but that it is possible to find meaning and connection through the act of improvising and making the best of what we have.

La guitarra electrica al principio suena increible muy al estilo soul, pero la forma en que las trompetas y el sax rompen la cancion en 1:25 y cada vez después de eso dios mío de igual forma al estilo soul woow. Me pone los pelos de punta.
