It's a bizarre thing when I'm driving along as a delivery driver in a job that I hate and I hear this on the radio. This one time I actually go to the radio station's playlist and find out what it is. Now I've always got it. Such a strange juxtaposition between ugliness at work and beauty on the radio.

♥︎what a lovely comment, Liege. It expresses the beauty you reflect. Seeing beauty is Being beauty! ♫

Man...get a new job! The music is telling you to do something else in and with your life. Life's too short to be miserable...

I still remember the very first time I ever heard this, and thought it was one of the most beautiful pieces of music I'd ever heard. I still do. Just stunning.

Same here.

the silence that literally hits after a Tavener piece is always so profound, must be something about the way he ended his compositions
@hannahjones8992
I think this might well be the most beautiful piece of music ever written. It's like a mighty prayer that touches everything in creation and carries me way beyond towards heaven. I havnt listened to it for some time and having done so now, I'm immensely glad, it's restored my mind and spirit during a very difficult time. Thank you John Tavener, I love your music more than words can say. And Thank you to the person who shared this. God bless 🙏🏻💖💖💖💖
