If I Loved You
Joni James Lyrics
IF I LOVED YOU
If I loved you
Time and again I would try to say
All I'd want you to know.
If I loved you
Words wouldn't come in an easy way
'Round in circles I'd go-o.
Longing to tell you, but afraid and shy
I'd let my golden chances pass me by.
Soon you'd leave me
Never, never to know
How I loved you
If I loved you-ooh-ooh-ooh.

This song I will always remembered my good old solicitor, Romeo Rizal Vicente, who died in a car accidental many years already, Romeo will sing that song in one of our hangout restaurant somewhere in Malate, Manila, this song has touches me so dearly, because hard to find a good solicitor or lawyer like Romeo and he was an ancestor of Philippines' National Hero, Dr. Jose Rizal. I will never ever forget Romeo till today. May God bless his soul somewhere around me hopefully.

So many people have observed how close the Barbra Streisand recording hews to the Joni James approach. This is one of Joni's greatest achievements, and likewise, Barbra's recording is one of her greatest achievements.
