The Northern Norwegian band
Judith is a hybrid of four young men from Northern Norway with a different set of musical influences.
It is all rock - could be emo, could be stoner, or more popishlike rock - but the sound is all Judith. Will be avalible on last.fm by the end of 2006.
The American goth rock band
Christopher David made face with Requiem in White throughout the early '90s, making himself one of goth rock's rising stars around his native New York City. By 1995, he hooked up with bass player Damian James and drummer Brian Veit for a new project, a darkwave experimental group they called Judith. They made their debut that April at CBGB annual event, Night of Misanthropy, and Judith's first album Föhn was out by December. Since goth rock was still cult and fan-based throughout America, Judith challenged European audiences. Judith's infectious post-punk sound of lush choruses, heavy bass lines, and worldbeat percussion was strikingly similar to the likes of Die Krupps and Rosetta Stone. A deal with Neue Aesthetik was set by 1998 and Judith issued the beautiful chaos of La Reveuse. Monica Richards and William Faith of Faith & the Muse invited Judith to play the Blackout A.D. tour in 1999; this was Judith's first major tour of North America and dates in the U.K. and Germany followed the next summer. Having spent the latter '90s on the road and recording, David, James, and Veit took a well-deserved break before writing for a third album. Play of Light was issued in fall 2001.

Of A Heaven

We walked the same old streets
Completely unaware
That you were right there next to me
You lived your life
And I lived mine
But Heaven knew
It knew just the right time
As simple as a swipe right
And now look where we are
Cause heaven knew
It was you
Your loves left me speechless
It's the greatest adventure I've known
Heaven knew
That it was you
All the years spent waiting
All the fears went fading
The moment I met you
I didn't know that love could look like this
To be assured that
You're the man I see my future with
Its funny how we met when the world was falling apart
As simple as a swipe right
And now look where we are
Cause heaven knew
It was you
Your loves left me speechless
It's the greatest adventure I've known
Heaven knew
That it was you
All the years spent waiting
All the fears went fading
The moment I met you
Heaven knew
It was you
All the years spent waiting
All the fears went fading
The moment I met you
The song "Of A Heaven" by Judith is about personal growth and helping others to find their inner strength. The opening lyrics suggest that the singer has gone through a transformation and is no longer the same person she used to be. She takes pride in the fact that she has become stronger, and feels that this newfound strength is a positive development in her life.
The lyrics then shift to describing a woman who is struggling and needs help. The singer sees this woman pushing her food away, and wonders what she can do to save her. This woman is not named, but the singer implies that she has experienced difficulty and pain in her life, just like the singer herself has.
The chorus of the song urges the listener to "free her" and "send her a message from Heaven." The singer believes that this woman has something important to say, and she wants to help her find her voice. The song ultimately urges the listener to tell this woman that she is beautiful, despite her struggles.
Overall, "Of A Heaven" is a powerful and emotional song that encourages personal growth and compassion for others. The singer's journey of self-discovery is intertwined with her desire to help those who are struggling, and the message of the song is one of hope and forgiveness.

The rules have changed
Things are different now than they used to be.
I'm not the same girl as I used to be
I have grown and changed as a person.
And it's getting better to be stronger
It's becoming more and more rewarding to be a strong person.
And now
This is the present moment.
The day has died
The day has come to an end.
I wore my hatred like a badge of pride
I used to be proud of my anger and resentment.
So, pinch me if I'm dreaming.
I can't believe how much I've changed.
And when I saw her, I knew her
I recognized something in her that I had felt before.
I watched her as she pushed the plate away
I observed her struggle with something she didn't want to do.
Should I save her?
Is there anything I can do to help her?
Should I get down on my knees and pray?
Maybe praying for her is the best thing I can do.
Free her today
Help her escape her struggles right now.
Send her a message from Heaven
Deliver a message that comes from a higher power.
She's got so much to say
She has important things to express.
And she's beautiful.
She is a valuable and lovely person.
Before she throws it all away
Before she gives up or ruins everything.
It's the cruelest thing
It is incredibly painful and difficult.
You can't see even for all of your shame
Even if you feel guilty or ashamed, you can't see the way forward.
And it's just so damn hard getting stronger
Becoming a strong person is a very challenging process.
But I know now
I have learned something important.
There's a place inside
There is a part of me that is resilient and enduring.
And it holds the flame that never ever dies
This part of me has an unquenchable spirit.
The longer it burns, the brighter it shines.
The more I persevere, the more inspiring and powerful I become.
I understood the hateful things she'd seen
I empathized with the trauma and pain she has experienced.
And I spoke to her
I connected with her and offered her comfort and advice.
I got down on my knees and prayed for her life.
I expressed my deep concern and hope for her future.
You know her name
This person is familiar or recognizable to you.
Yes indeed, you know her name
You are absolutely familiar with this person.
Sister, if you've been where I've been
If you have gone through similar struggles to mine,
Tell her tell her...
Convey this message to her.
Free her
Help her become emotionally and mentally free.
Send her a message from Heaven
Deliver a message that feels like it comes from a divine or higher place.
