Even in times of depression and stress, I keep questioning and growing

I got the lesson when I'm fenced in so I'm walking in my mission
I learn from challenges and obstacles and am committed to my purpose

I put work in now for six so on the seventh day I'm resting
I work hard six days a week, but take a day of rest to recharge

I am a writer and constantly staying creative and inspired

And I ain't never gone retire so I'm spending up my pension
I never plan on retiring and will keep working and using my skills

I aint never getting tired when in Him I stay dependent
I won't tire as long as I stay dependent on God

My faith and passion will never die because God's love is limitless

I went from the shame and I'm worthless to getting pain with a purpose
I turned my shame and low sense of worth into a purposeful life with pain that leads to growth

I got strain on my brain I felt the flame in a furnace
I've faced mental and emotional challenges that felt like they were burning me alive

I got scars to remain but they just stay on the surface
I have emotional scars that still affect me, but they don't define who I am

I'm not the same I been changed and I'm purchased
I am transformed and redeemed, bought by God

Plus I'm forged in a fire
I have been tested and strengthened through difficult times

I was forced to retire I got a source that is higher
I was written off by some but I have faith in a higher power that sustains me

But of course I got a choice wether to stay up in the mire
I have the ability to choose whether to stay in negative situations or rise above them

But I choose to be used cause you're the messiah
I choose to use my gifts and talents for God's purpose

I told the enemy steady flee
I refuse to let negativity and the enemy control me

Past is behind I got the best days ahead of me
I focus on the future and the good things that are to come

Pass and rewind I got a recipe to set em free
I have a blueprint to help others overcome their struggles and find freedom

I put feet to my faith just like the legs on a centipede
I act on my faith and am driven to take steps towards my goals, like the legs of a centipede

God is my top priority and I come second, like the letter 'b'

Set the table make a toast and I'm a send a speech
I am a leader who sets an example, and I want to make a toast and send a message

To the one in whom I boast cause He's the centerpiece
I boast about God and He is the center of my life

That Holy Ghost Father plus Son that's the remedy
The Holy Trinity (Holy Ghost, Father, Son) is the cure for any problem
