Their first longplay - "Pod prąd" - was released in 1988, since that time the crew has changed a couple of times. KSU has released 10 official albums and over 30 unofficial releases and bootlegs are known. During entire time of its existence the crew has changed many times. Current members are:
Eugeniusz "Siczka" Olejarczyk (vocals, guitar), Jarosław "Jasiu" Kidawa (guitar), Paweł "Kojak" Gawlik (bass guitar), Leszek "Dziaro" Dziarek (drums).

The lyrics describe a catastrophic incident at 3:06 am, where pipes burst and sewage floods the streets, mixing with oil, waste and urine. The ground floor is submerged and attacked by waves of sewage. The chorus repeats 'Ewolucja w ścieku', which translates to evolution in the sewage. The scene changes to the main street, where limousines once trod, now, human waste and corpses float by filled with the smell of decay, panicked herds of mad rats break into apartments, and humanity falls in ruin as a new era dawns.
The closing verse speaks of the irony as the technological geniuses who thought they had conquered nature, turn to faeces, and rulers of the world, left stranded on rooftops, await the end of the era. As the sewage recedes, a new life detoxified by the sewage survives with rats, amphibians, reptiles and insects at the forefront of evolution. The overall theme of the song is a take on the idea of evolution, with an unexpected twist, as it portrays sewage as the catalyst for the evolution of life - a chaotic commentary on society's lack of regard for the environment.
