Bikini Wax
Killer Pussy Lyrics

Okay, you guys, come on, everybody
Get down on the beach, surf's up!

Summertime is here, it's time for surfin' and sun, now
(Surfin' and sun, now, surfin' and sun)
So put on your bikinis, girls, and have some fun now
(Havin' some fun, now, havin' some fun)
But first, you better check before you slip off your slacks
(Checkin' your slacks, now, checkin' your slacks)
It's prob'ly time to go for a bikini wax
(Bikini wax, now, bikini wax)

So heat it up and beat it up and spread it on
Strip it off and rip it off, your cares are gone
Bikini wax'll clean the cracks
You really gotta wax 'er down

Just a summer blonde? Nobody needs to know, now
(No one'll know, now, no one'll know)
If those black and kinky little hairs don't show, now
(Don't let 'em show, now, don't let 'em show)
For a muff that's up-to-snuff, you'll never need an axe
(Don't use an axe, now, don't use an axe)
Just leave it to your beaver and bikini wax
(Bikini wax, now, bikini wax)

So heat it up and beat it up and spread it on
Strip it off and rip it off, your cares are gone
Bikini wax'll clean the cracks
You really gotta wax 'er down

Waxin' 'er down, now, waxin' 'er down, now
Out in the sun just a-waxin' 'er down, now
Waxin' 'er down, now, waxin' 'er down, now
We're havin' fun just a-waxin' 'er down, now

Some girls'll use a razor, some use Neet or Nair, now
(Neet or Nair, now, Neet or Nair)
Well, that's okay for legs, but honey, not down there
(Not down there, now, don't use it there)
And some may bleach their snatches 'til they're white as flax
(Bleachin' your snatch, now, bleachin' your snatch)
But most, we say the easy way's bikini wax
(Bikini wax, now, bikini wax)

So heat it up and beat it up and spread it on
Strip it off and rip it off, your cares are gone
Bikini wax'll clean the cracks
You really gotta wax 'er down

So call up all the boys and tell 'em you'll be there, now
(Y'gonna be there, now, y'gonna be there)
As soon as you get rid of that unwanted hair, now
(Sheddin' that hair, now, sheddin' that hair)
It only stings a minute, girls, so let's make tracks
(Makin' tracks, now, makin' tracks)
To your favorite beauty shop for a bikini wax
(Bikini wax, now, bikini wax)

So heat it up and beat it up and spread it on
Strip it off and rip it off, your cares are gone
Bikini wax'll clean the cracks
You really gotta wax 'er down

Waxin' 'er down, now, waxin' 'er down, now
Out in the sun just a-waxin' 'er down, now
Waxin' 'er down, now, waxin' 'er down, now
We're havin' fun just a-waxin' 'er down, now

Take a tip from me and don't get stuck in a jam
Just tidy up the sideburns on that bearded clam
For a red hot beaver shot
You really gotta wax 'er down
Bikini wax, bikini wax
You really gotta wax 'er down
Bikini wax, bikini wax
You really gotta wax 'er down

Overall Meaning

The song "Bikini Wax" by Killer Pussy is a tongue-in-cheek ode to the importance of grooming for the summer season. The lyrics humorously suggest that getting a bikini wax is absolutely essential for any girl who wants to look good on the beach. The opening lines encourage everyone to get down on the beach, indicating that it is time for fun and sun. However, before any girl slips off her slacks, it's important to check and make sure that she's ready with a bikini wax.

The chorus of the song emphasizes the importance of bikini waxing, with colloquial phrases like "heat it up and beat it up and spread it on / Strip it off and rip it off, your cares are gone" and "bikini wax'll clean the cracks / you really gotta wax 'er down." The lyrics suggest that girls who don't want black and kinky little hairs to show should get a bikini wax for a muff that's up-to-snuff. The song also takes a dig at girls who use a razor or Neet or Nair for their private parts, suggesting that bikini wax is the preferred option.

In summary, "Bikini Wax" is a humorous song that jokingly promotes the importance of bikini waxing for girls who want to look their best on the beach. It is a light-hearted reminder to stay well-groomed and have fun during the summer season.

My brother, Gary Russell, wrote Pocket Pool. He was the guitar player and sang on several songs. His Scottsdale High School buddy, Scott Campbell, moved to L.A. from Arizona and became a very well known late night DJ on KROQ. He gave Killer Pussy's "Teenage Enema Nurses in Bondage" lots and lots of air play! They were an underground hit! Brett Easton Ellis mentions them in his book, "Less than Zero" and one of their songs played in the movie of the same book.

When i hear this album..i REALLY laugh at how ahead of its time the lyrics were on this album...especially interpreted by a female vocalist and the lyrics being "upfront" when it was almost a disney-esque era in certain parts of the country/cities..VERY original well thought lyrics unlike most stuff churned out today....this has to be up there with the zanyness of nina hagen/lene lovich/devo/the mentors..oh kroq new wave...where art tho?
