Kilo kirsikoita

Niin siinä kävi, sitä häpee kieltää en
Vaikka naapurin tantta mulle ammui
Minä pidin silmät kiinni hymyillen
Tirsojen jälkeen oli olo vähän nahkee
Kas kummaa, siinä sitten jälleen kävi näin
Mutta taskusta Leijona kutitti mun povee
Ja elo on niin kuin kilo kirsikoita
Niitä hetkiä ei pysty unohtaan
Noita onnentunteen pikku pipanoita
Joita silloin tällöin etees tipahtaa
Naamani oli vielä karmeempi ku yleensä
Kun baariin sisään ryykäsin
Sormi pystyssä koitin sössötellä
Että pari tömäystä tarttisin
Katsoin ympärille
Jalat melekein petti
Kun jotain upeeta mä nurkkapöydäs' näin
Taatusit koko Nykin kaunein nainen
katsoi hymyillen meikäläiseen päin
Ja elo on niin kuin kilo kirsikoita
Niitä hetkiä ei pysty unohtaan
Noita onnentunteen pikku pipanoita
Joita silloin tällöin etees tipahtaa
No tottakai mä onneani koitin
Istuin pöytään ja iskin tarinaa
Omasta mielestä olin kauheen hauska
Ja neidilläkin oli mukavaa
Yhtämatkaa siinä sitten mentiin meille
Ja meillä oli diibadaa
Nääs joskus aurinko tuo risukasaan paistaa
Joskus onnistaa: joskus kivaa saa
Ja elo on niin kuin kilo kirsikoita
Niitä hetkiä ei pysty unohtaan
Noita onnentunteen pikku pipanoita
Joita silloin tällöin etees tipahtaa
Ja elo on niin kuin kilo kirsikoita
Niitä hetkiä ei pysty unohtaan
Noita onnentunteen pikku pipanoita
Joita silloin tällöin etees tipahtaa
The lyrics of Klamydia's song Kilo Kirsikoita describe a night out and the feelings of joy and nostalgia that come with it. The singer tells the story of how they passed out on the stairs, but even though their neighbor scolded them, they found comfort in just closing their eyes and smiling. After drinking tirso, they felt a bit uneasy, but then they were approached by a person offering them Leijona, and telling them they didn't need to be sober. The singer then reflects on how life is like a kilo of cherries, made up of small moments of happiness that can never be forgotten.
The second verse is about when the singer stumbled into a bar with a somewhat scary face, only to see the most beautiful woman in New York smiling at them. After chatting and finding their jokes funny, they went home together, and had a good time. The chorus emphasizes the idea of cherishing small moments of joy that add up over time, and create a life filled with happiness and contentment.

Kun meikäläinen portahille sammui
When I passed out on the stairs
Niin siinä kävi, sitä häpee kieltää en
It happened, I can't deny it
Vaikka naapurin tantta mulle ammui
Even though the neighbor lady was flirting with me
Minä pidin silmät kiinni hymyillen
I kept my eyes closed and smiled
Tirsojen jälkeen oli olo vähän nahkee
Feeling a little rough after the drinks
Kas kummaa, siinä sitten jälleen kävi näin
As it happened once again
Mutta taskusta Leijona kutitti mun povee
But the Lion in my pocket tickled my chest
Ja ärjyi: Sun ei tartte olla selevin päin
And roared: You don't have to be sober
Ja elo on niin kuin kilo kirsikoita
Life is like a kilo of cherries
Niitä hetkiä ei pysty unohtaan
Those moments cannot be forgotten
Noita onnentunteen pikku pipanoita
Those little drops of happiness
Joita silloin tällöin etees tipahtaa
That occasionally fall in front of you
Naamani oli vielä karmeempi ku yleensä
My face was even worse than usual
Kun baariin sisään ryykäsin
When I stumbled into the bar
Sormi pystyssä koitin sössötellä
With my finger up, I tried to babble
Että pari tömäystä tarttisin
Saying I needed a couple of shots
Katsoin ympärille
I looked around
Jalat melekein petti
My legs almost gave out
Kun jotain upeeta mä nurkkapöydäs' näin
When I saw something gorgeous at the corner table
Taatusit koko Nykin kaunein nainen
It was the most beautiful woman in all of New York
katsoi hymyillen meikäläiseen päin
She looked at me with a smile
No tottakai mä onneani koitin
Of course, I tried my luck
Istuin pöytään ja iskin tarinaa
I sat at her table and started chatting
Omasta mielestä olin kauheen hauska
I thought I was incredibly funny
Ja neidilläkin oli mukavaa
And the lady was enjoying herself too
Yhtämatkaa siinä sitten mentiin meille
We went to her place together
Ja meillä oli diibadaa
And we had a grand old time
Nääs joskus aurinko tuo risukasaan paistaa
Sometimes the sun shines on the pile of twigs
Joskus onnistaa: joskus kivaa saa
Sometimes it works out: sometimes you have fun
