The summer nights, the winter rains
The future shining in our hands
All the loving things you've said
Nothing more than emptyness
Teardrops, lies and promises
Blowing in the air
So far in the cloudless sky
And the world keeps turning now
And the sun keeps shining
So far in the cloudless sky
And the world keeps turning now, ah-ah
Remember all those days
The summer nights, the winter rains
Teardrops, lies and promises
Blowing in the air
And the sun keeps shining
So far in the cloudless sky
And the world keeps turning now
And the sun keeps shining
So far in the cloudless sky
And the world keeps turning now, ah-ah
You will see de difference
In the morning light
When your heart opens to love
So let it all go, try to forget
The fears, yeah, the fears
And the sun keeps shining
So far in the cloudless sky
And the world keeps turning now
And the sun keeps shining
So far in the cloudless sky
And the world keeps turning now, ah-ah
The song "Turning World" by La Prohibida is an introspective song about reflecting on memories and letting go. The lyrics talk about reminiscing about the past, specifically the summer nights and winter rains. The singer reflects on the hope and promise of the future that she once held, which are now only empty words. There's a sense of regret and sadness as she also mentions tears, lies, and broken promises. The words describe how these emotions and memories are now just blowing in the air, faded and gone. Despite all of this, life goes on and the world keeps turning. The sun keeps shining, and time keeps moving forward.
The later part of the song brings a message of hope and new beginnings. The singer encourages the listener to let go of the past, the fears, and try to open up their heart to love. She suggests that in the morning light, you can see the difference and that the world is still turning. The message is clear that although the past may be filled with pain and regrets, life still goes on, and there's always hope for a better tomorrow.
Overall, La Prohibida's "Turning World" is a reflective and emotional song that will resonate with anyone who's ever felt the weight of the past. The lyrics are a reminder that despite the hardships, life keeps on moving, and there's always hope for a better tomorrow.
