The song "Trust Nobody" by Lady Leshurr is about the difficulty of trusting people in this world. The verses are filled with lines that convey a sense of wariness and caution around the people around her. She warns that she has no problem "hushing" someone if they break her trust, and that she will "crush somebody" if necessary. Lady Leshurr seems to be asserting her dominance and strength in the face of a world full of betrayal and deceit.
Throughout the song, Lady Leshurr emphasizes that she doesn't trust anyone. She repeats the line "Me nuh trust nobody" several times in each chorus, emphasizing the importance of her self-reliance and independence. At the same time, she acknowledges that her mistrust may be a result of her own behavior, saying, "Who is the realest? I don't know none (I don't)." Perhaps she is aware that she herself can be untrustworthy at times, which contributes to her overall sense of paranoia.
Overall, the song is a powerful statement about the difficulty of trusting others in a world where people may not have your best interests at heart. Lady Leshurr's lyrics suggest that self-reliance and caution are the keys to survival in such a world.
