1) a rock music project from Italy.
2) a Brazilian country music singer from Goiás state.
2) a Brazilian gaucha music singer from Rio Grande do Sul state.
3) Serbian neoclassic metal band.
4) Leonardo Ringo, an Indonesian musician, Zeke and The Popo Band, from Jakarta
Inspired by Lou Reed, Richard Hawley, Jeff Buckley, and Tom Waits, Leonardo (drummer from Zeke and the Popo, Indonesia) decided to record his own album which to be named "The Sun" from November 2008 to January 2009. It consists of 13 tracks, each brings a warm atmosphere and a chaotic experience at the same time. Blended with acoustic ambiant, combined with brass section, string section and even gospel choir. A little bit of chamber pop, jazz, swing and a drip of rockabilly, hopefully brings Leonardo to a refreshment for Indonesian pop-culture male-vocal scene. Produced by Hendra Perdana a.k.a. Anda (ex-guitarist of a well-known Indonesian rock band, Bunga) and Dharmo Soedirman (a jazz activist from Komunitas Jazz Kemayoran), this album is a melting pot from an icy thick wall from the two genres. Supported by Rayendra Yuditia (ZATPP), Susan Agiwitanto (Tika and In Memoriam), Emil Hussein (NAIF) on bass, Christo Putra on drums, Anda on electric guitars, Dharmo Soedirman on piano, Mian Meuthia and Mian Tiara as backing vocals, Melanie Wilson from "Amazing in Bed" as guest vocals, Ricky Surya (White Shoes & the Couples Company) on cello, Filipus Davefriz on percussions, will make this album a heat; like the sun, in 2009.
Leonardo is a project born from Trent Gardner (Magellan) with the aim to put on a record the life of the great italian genius Leonardo Da Vinci.
Many singers played a part in the project, most notably James LaBrie (Dream Theater, Frameshift) and Trent Gardner himself.

Serenata
Leonardo Lyrics

Cantar com meus amigos
Pra você fazer serenata
Nas madrugadas vazias
De sereno meu violão molhado
Eu cantava em sua janela
Eu era o seu namorado
Eu cantando, você acordava
Com os olhos cheios de amor
Abria a janela e me beijava
Depois eu te dava uma flor
Quase chorando eu ia embora
Ah, se voltasse esse tempo
De poesia sem dor de outrora
O tempo passou como as nuvens
Sopradas pela tempestade
Onde está a minha alegria?
Já não tenho mais felicidade
Vou cantar outra vez pra você
Jogar fora essa dor que me mata
Vou chamar meu melhor amigo
E pra você fazer serenata
The song "Serenata" by Leonardo is a nostalgic expression of longing to return to the past where the singer could sing and play music with his friends. He reminisces about the times when he used to serenade his loved one by singing at her window on quiet and lonely nights with a wet guitar in his hands. The singer used to be her boyfriend and would delight in seeing her awaken from her slumber, opening her window and showering him with love and kisses. However, now the passage of time has made him melancholic and sad. He misses the times of poetry and laughter that did not include pain. He ends the song by resolving to call his friends and sing to his loved one once again, hoping to recapture some of the joy and happiness of the past.

Sing with my friends
Pra você fazer serenata
So you could serenade
Nas madrugadas vazias
In the empty early mornings
De sereno meu violão molhado
With my guitar wet from dew
Eu cantava em sua janela
I sang at your window
Eu era o seu namorado
I was your boyfriend
A lua descia do céu
The moon descended from the sky
Eu cantando, você acordava
I sang, you woke up
Com os olhos cheios de amor
With eyes full of love
Abria a janela e me beijava
You opened the window and kissed me
Depois eu te dava uma flor
Then I gave you a flower
Quase chorando eu ia embora
Almost crying, I would leave
Ah, se voltasse esse tempo
If only that time could come back

E pra você fazer serenata
And for you to be serenaded
