Exodus
Les Stentors Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Sus hermanos de disparo en la luz
Ellos están allí en un nuevo país
Que flota su mástil del barco
El amor desgarrador
El amor corazón perdido
Ellos encontraron la tierra del amor
The lyrics in Les Stentors's song 'Exodus' tell the story of people leaving their home country in search of a better life. They run away and leave everything behind, in the hopes of erasing the fear and pain that has been engraved in their hearts by the struggles of their former lives. They are heading towards a new place that they hope will be full of hope and love, leaving behind the crops they won't be able to harvest and the old country of their songs.
Through the lyrics, the listeners can feel the sense of longing, of desperate hope and faith that the immigrants put into finding a place that would finally offer them the chance to grow and start anew. They cry the sadness of leaving everything behind, but they also cry their joy and faith that they can finally find the land of love, the place where they can start again and prosper.
