Their only notable international hit, "Narcotic", was first released on a demo in 1996 and sold over 700.000 units when Virgin Records re-released it in 1998. Since then, Liquido hasn't been able to repeat this success, which led to a split from Virgin after two unsuccessful albums in 2004 and finally to the breakup of the band in 2009.
Tim Eiermann is known to be founding member of Death/Doom Metal act Pyogenesis, which released its first EP Ignis Creatio in 1992 through Osmose Productions. Wolle Maier also played in Pyogenesis.

Liquido Lyrics

The lyrics to Liquido's song Suzanne seem to describe a tumultuous relationship with a girl named Suzanne who is a liar and a betrayer. The singer seems to be struggling with their own identity and sense of self-worth in relation to Suzanne's behavior. The chorus keeps repeating her name as if to highlight her impact on him, and how she's breaking him apart. He describes adrenaline rushing through his body and soul in response to what she's done, making him want to scream.
The lyrics also suggest that the situation has escalated to the point where it's become an attack. Suzanne is described as someone who delivers lies, and everything she does is in betrayal. The singer wonders if he can save a liar from the fire, but the phrase "so it goes" suggests perhaps he knows it's a lost cause. The song seems to capture the pain and confusion of being in a relationship that's destructive and how it can affect one's sense of self.
