Llorca is Ludovic Llorca (born in 1974), the resident "soulman" of acclaimed French label F Communications, the successful company which has introduced the world to the likes of (label co-founder and techno producer) Laurent Garnier and the forward-thinking jazz of St. Germain (now signed to the legendary Blue Note label). Since signing with the label in 1997 on the strength of an unsolicited demo, Llorca has gone on to become a strong artist for F Communications.

I remember, I remember when I lost my mind
There was something so special about that place
Even your emotions have an echo in so much space
And when you're out there without care
Yeah, I was out of touch
But it wasn't because I didn't know enough
Does that make me crazy?
Does that make me crazy?
Does that make me crazy?
Possibly
And I hope that you are
Having the time of your life
But think twice
That's my only advice
Come on now, who do you
Who do you, who do you, who do you think you are?
Ha ha ha, bless your soul
You really think you're in control?
Well, I think you're crazy
I think you're crazy
I think you're crazy
Just like me
My heroes had the heart
To live their lives out on a limb
And all I remember
Is thinking, I want to be like them
Ever since I was little
Ever since I was little
It looked like fun
And it's no coincidence I've come
And I can die when I'm done
But maybe I'm crazy
Maybe you're crazy
Maybe we're crazy
Probably
ouh ouh crazy
nd I hope that you are
Having the time of your life
But think twice
That's my only advice
Come on now, who do you
Who do you, who do you, who do you think you are?
Ha ha ha, bless your soul
You really think you're in control?
Well, I think you're crazy
I think you're crazy
I think you're crazy
Just like me
My heroes had the heart
To live their lives out on a limb
And all I remember
Is thinking, I want to be like them
Ever since I was little
Ever since I was little
It looked like fun
And it's no coincidence I've come
And I can die when I'm done
But maybe I'm crazy
ouh ouh crazy
The lyrics to Llorca's "Any How" are a reflection on the nature of sanity and conformity in society. The opening lines, "I remember when, I remember, I remember when I lost my mind," immediately set the tone for the song. The singer remembers a time when they "lost their mind" in a place that was "special" to them. The lyrics suggest that there is a connection between mental instability and creativity.
The lines "And when you're out there without care, yeah, I was out of touch/ But it wasn't because I didn't know enough/ I just knew too much" suggest that the singer was not disconnected from society because they lacked knowledge, but rather because they were aware of things that others were not. This can be interpreted as a criticism of conformity and the pressure to conform to societal norms.
The chorus of the song, with its repeated refrain of "Does that make me crazy? Possibly," emphasizes the theme of questioning sanity and what it means to be "crazy". The lyrics urge the listener to think twice about the notion of control and to consider that perhaps they are not as in control as they believe.
The song also includes references to the singer's heroes who had the "heart to live their lives out on a limb". This can be interpreted as a call to embrace individuality and to not be afraid to stand out from the crowd.
Overall, "Any How" is a thought-provoking song that raises questions about the nature of sanity and conformity in society.
