yo no sé lo que me pasa
que no pué
que no puedo caminar.
Pensarán,
pensarán que estoy borracho,
y ha de ser,
y ha de ser debilidá'.
Estribillo
Eche otro litro i'vino
Don Ceferino por caridad
quiero tomarme todo
y de ese modo olvidar.
Viva las buenas mozas,
viva Mendoza y San Juan.
Yo no sé
Yo no sé qué es lo que tengo
para ser,
para ser tan disgraciao'.
Me i' tomao,
me i' tomao más de tres litros,
y apenas,
y apenas si estoy chispeao'.
The lyrics to Los Chalchaleros's song Entre San Juan Y Mendoza speak of someone who seems to have lost the ability to walk straight and is stumbling around. He is aware of the perception others may have of him being drunk, but he believes it is weakness that is making him walk that way. The person seems to be trying to find a way to forget what's bothering him, and is drinking wine in large amounts, wanting to forget his problems. The chorus talks about the goodness of the women and the joy of the two provinces, Mendoza and San Juan.
