Los Pasteles Verdes was founded by guitarist Víctor Hugo Acuña and keyboardist Cesar Acuña, who are brothers; they had previously played together in The Jeekstones and Los Benkers. In 1973 they formed Los Pasteles Verdes with singer German Laos, drummer Jorge Luis Principe, bassist Miguel Moreno, and percussionist Juan Vásquez. In 1974, another singer, Aldo Guibovich, joined the group. Their first hit, a success across Latin America, was "Angelitos Negros", which preceded the release of their debut Recuerdos de Una Noche.[ Among their later hits were "Hipocresia" and "Esclavo y Amo".
The group made a significant impact on the Mexican and Mexican-American musical markets in the late 1970s. For part of the 1970s and 1980s they were based out of Mexico. They toured Japan in 2007

Una de las canciones màs hermosas y sentidas grabadas por este grupo, a mi siempre me gustaban los lados B de los discos, si bien no eran las màs tocadas, llàmese relleno, eran màs llamativas, por eso la rescato por su letra y estilo fresco de las doce cuando te retiras y la dejas sòla en la puerta, pensando verla al dìa siguiente...

De acuerdo Richard, el lado B de los LP o sencillos de 45 siempre nos traían sorpresas impresionantes; como por ejemplo el lado B del sencillo del cantante argentino Luís Ángel, todos escuchaban el éxito Lluvia, a mi me gusta muchisimo el lado B cuya canción es Viento.
Pero igual con Los Pasteles Verdes no había lado malo porque todas sus canciones, especialmente las primeras, fueron éxitos y llegaron al corazón de todos los seguidores.
