The song "Hasta Que Todo Se Derrumbe" by Los Pericos showcases the life of a woman who loves to imagine herself as a fatal and unreachable girl. Her eyes are like sparks in the dark, and they convey her energetic desires. She shivers and undresses her body under the neon lights. She only gets offered some money and a cardboard stage in return. Despite that, she is the queen and the owner of the arena. She knows very well that everything is just a game. Her skin becomes a trophy for a night, and her voice becomes a massive and lonely song.
This woman is surrounded by loneliness, and she gets remembered by those who wait for her arrival. Only she can offer them magical moments of a fleeting kiss. The chorus, "Hasta Que Todo Se Derrumbe," translates to "Until Everything Collapses." This phrase represents the ephemeral nature of life and how everything can crumble at any moment. The song implies that the woman's dreams and world can collapse too. Therefore, she enjoys every moment and lives life to the fullest.
