Aunque los tiempos sean duros
Te vas volviendo mejor asi
Como plegaria junto a un muro
Cerca de mi
Americana
Cerca de mi
Veo tu imagen, cancion fugaz
Despierto en sue
ños sin querer
De amor y risa llenas mi paz
Aire nuevo que hace florecer
"La Que Me Da Lugar" is a beautiful and romantic song by Los Pericos, one of the most iconic Latin American rock bands. The song describes the feelings of a person who is in love with someone special, who gives them a sense of comfort and belonging in their life. The lyrics express the idea that even during difficult times, this person makes everything feel better and brings new life, like a fresh breeze that makes flowers bloom.
Throughout the song, the singer admires the person they are in love with, saying that even though times may be tough, this person is becoming better and stronger. They compare their love to a prayer beside a wall, suggesting that their love is something that gives them hope and faith, like religion. The chorus repeats the phrase "Cerca de mi" (Close to me) and "Americana," which can be interpreted as an expression of longing and affection towards the person they love.
Overall, "La Que Me Da Lugar" is a tender and poetic expression of love that captures the essence of Los Pericos' music, which blends rock, reggae, and Latin rhythms to create a unique and unforgettable sound.
