Natural Mystic
Los Pericos Lyrics

Blowing through the air
If you listen carefully now you will hear
This could be the first trumpet
Might as well be the last
Many more will have to suffer
Many more will have to die
Don't ask me why
I won't tell no lie
One and all got to face reality now
Though I try to find the answer
To all the questions they ask
Though I know it's impossible
To go living through the past
Don't tell no lie
There's a natural mystic
Blowing through the air
Can't keep them down
If you listen carefully now you will hear
Such a natural mystic
Blowing through the air
This could be the first trumpet
Might as well be the last
Many more will have to suffer
Many more will have to die
Don't ask me why
There's a natural mystic
Blowing through the air
I won't tell no lie
If you listen carefully now, you will hear
Los Péricos's Natural Mystic is a reggae-infused song that speaks about a natural phenomenon that is blowing through the air. The lyrics suggest that if you listen carefully, you can hear a trumpet, and this trumpet could either be the first or last. The first trumpet implies that the natural mystic is an awakening or a calling to consciousness, while the last trumpet denotes the end of the world. To the singer, the message behind the natural mystic is the reality that many people will suffer and die, and there is no explanation for why things are the way they are. He urges his listeners to face reality and not to live in denial.
The singer also acknowledges that he finds it challenging to answer all the questions that people are asking, especially those relating to the past. However, he urges listeners not to tell a lie about the natural mystic blowing through the air because it is a reality that cannot be ignored. The song's tone is ominous, as it suggests that humanity is facing dire times, and we must brace ourselves for what lies ahead.
