why a ver, a ver, a ver, a ver, a ver a ver, a ver...
why eran amores, esos amores
why eran amores, que no te cansan
why eran amores, esos amores
why eran amores, que no descansan
Párate why Mira, mira como se mueve,
mira como baila, mira como salta. (BIS)
Como si nada consigue su juego
siempre distante, siempre hacia adelante
Mueve tu cuerpo, no te des respiro
why eran amores, esos amores
why eran amores, que no te cansan
why eran amores, esos amores
Bien merecido, bien merecido
bien merecido, super merecido
why su amiga también...
The lyrics to Los Pericos' song "Párate Y Mira" are a call to attention to an alluring woman, encouraging others to take notice of her body movements as she dances and jumps. The song seems to be about admiring this woman's confidence and grace on the dance floor. The song also warns that losing her would be a fatal mistake, suggesting that she is a rare and valuable woman who deserves to be treated with respect and admiration.
The lyrics are interspersed with repeated choruses encouraging the listener to "Párate y Mira" (stop and look) at the woman's dance moves, with lines about how she moves with confidence and grace. The second half of the song emphasizes the importance of being honest with her in order to keep her, and the chorus repeats the phrase "bien merecido" (well-deserved) in reference to the woman's dance skills and value as a partner.
Overall, the song is a celebration of confidence and valor in both dance and love, urging listeners not to let a good thing slip away and to appreciate the beauty and value of a rare woman.
