Cabeza De Policía
Los Pericos Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Corre, corre, corre.
The lyrics of Los Pericos's song "Cabeza De Policía" describe a police officer who feels paranoid and constantly on guard while patrolling the streets. The officer sees everything and everyone as a potential threat, and the constant sound of police sirens amplifies the feeling of danger. The song also describes the perspective of someone who is being pursued by the police, feeling lost and in constant struggle as a result.
The repeated phrase "De dónde vienen" means "where are they coming from" in Spanish, which represents the constant questioning and suspicion that both the officer and the pursued experience. The urgency and tension in the song's lyrics are reinforced by the fast-paced and upbeat music, which creates a sense of chaos and unease.
The song reflects the relationship between the police and society, and the possible consequences of an excessive use of force by law enforcement. It portrays the feeling of vulnerability that citizens experience when they perceive the police as a threatening entity instead of a protective one.
