Once, around the age of five when Lucky's mother came with him to receive Mehmood at the airport, Lucky didn't recognize his father and on seeing him said, "He's the film comedian Mehmood!" Lucky Ali lived away from his family in a boarding school up in the foothills of the Himalayas in Mussoorie. Lucky's tryst with marijuana led Mehmood to write the script of the movie Dushman Duniya Ka (Enemy of the World).[3] The movie stars Ali's youngest brother,Manzoor. It is the story of the drug abuse of a young man called Lucky. In the end the young man kills his mother, destroys everything around him and is then killed by his father.

The lyrics of Lucky Ali's song "Na Tum Jaano Na Hum" convey a sense of wonder and confusion about the various emotions that love brings. The song begins with the chant-like repetition of "A Embe O Venabde Veyo Veyo," which adds a mystical and hypnotic quality to the overall atmosphere.
The verses explore the questions and uncertainties that arise when experiencing love. The lines "Kyon chalti hai pavan, kyon jhoome hai gagan, kyon machalta hai man" reflect the bewilderment one feels when trying to understand the forces that drive love. The singer emphasizes that neither he nor the other person fully comprehend the complexities of love - "Na tum jaano na hum." It conveys the idea that love is a mysterious and unexplainable force that evades complete understanding.
The chorus continues this theme of questioning, with lines like "Kyon aati hai bahaar, kyon lutta hai kaarar, kyon hota hai pyaar" emphasizing the emotional and transformative aspects of love. The use of repetition in the chorus adds to the contemplative mood of the song.
The second stanza introduces the concepts of intoxication, solitude, and longing. The lines "Ye madhoshiyaan, ye tanhaaiyaan, tasavvur mein hai kiski parchaiyaan" evoke a sense of being lost in one's own thoughts and imagination, as well as the haunting presence of someone who is absent but deeply missed. It captures the bittersweet emotions that love can bring, manifesting as a mixture of joy and longing.
The final stanza focuses on the palpable physical and emotional effects of love. The lines "Dhadakta bhi hai, tadapta bhi hai, ye dil kyun achanak bahakta bhi hai" describe the increased heartbeat and restlessness one experiences in a state of love. The lyrics also suggest that love has a captivating aroma and sound that completely engulf the singer.
Overall, the song "Na Tum Jaano Na Hum" delves into the unknown aspects of love, highlighting the confusion, awe, and intense emotions that come with it. It portrays love as a force that defies rational understanding, leaving the singer and the listener in a state of wonderment and fascination.
