Sure As Hell
Lunatic Wolf Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
It's coming straight for us
Round up the oxygen
For us
Cause maybe we will need it
Sure as hell we will need it
We are born in a maze
Just know when you get to the end
You can't go back to the start again
If you are right when you tell me
I am able
I'll keep working at this then
Please just tell me this is normal
I don't have much hope
For the start again
In this life
You will fail to see all sides
But you won't be alone
In "Sure as Hell," Lunatic Wolf presents a message of determination and the importance of forging ahead in the face of challenges. The opening lines set the tone, as the singer observes a danger on the horizon and prepares for it by stockpiling oxygen - a metaphor for being ready to face adversity. The chorus echoes the sentiment that the future will be difficult, but the singer knows that they will need to persevere regardless. The lines "We are born in a maze / And we take the road most travelled" reflect the idea that humans often fall into a pattern of following the expected path, even if it isn't necessarily the one best-suited to their individual strengths and desires.

Hey Lunatic Wolf, a bit too late to write this, but this song truly has inspired a lot of things and influenced a lot in my life. I won't forget the memory of listening to this when I was almost 11 (time truly fucking flies), now it's six years later and I'm still amazed by it. The memories of young me and all the things that happened back in the old days and all the good of the good old days. Can't thank you enough! Now if you can excuse me, I'm gotta hit the play button and just cry. Yet again, as I did when I was an 11 year old kid.
