Overall Meaning

The opening lines of Masaki Yuka's song "Colors" talk about the difficulty of navigating the real world after leaving the sheltered life of childhood. The singer expected things to go one way, but they ended up facing a lot of difficult days. She finds herself in a society where people have different opinions, and as much as she wants to be accepted, she thinks that hiding her true self behind a facade is the only way to do so.
