Thank God I'm dreaming
Inside I'm screaming
But it's like no one hears me
Helpless. Can't forget this feeling
But then I see it
Happening here in broad day light
(Such heartless boys)
Trying to get, trying to get his money and toys
(He tries to fight them)
He's shouting someone help me please
(God save me please)
Everyone pretending not to see.
Why do you let it go on?
止まらない
止まらない
止まらない
Just walking walking oh no
In this cold and lonely world
誰をTrust
誰をTrust
誰をTrust?
Can some one tell me?
He's bleeding
Still no one's stopping
Don't you feel nothing?
I feel the anger rising
Wishing
Someone will stop them
They turn the other way
He knows it's time to give in
So I run ahead and ask aloud
(are you alright!?)
Trying to wipe trying to wipe his bloody eyes
(he seems so shaken)
But no one's there to take him home
(He's so alone)
And he thinks and he thinks oh what a world?
He just keeps on saying now
すみません
すみません
すみません
It's not your fault though
Oh no
Why you saying sorry now
ごめんなさい
ごめんなさい
ごめんなさい
Apologizing
Why why!?
Why do we just go on…
Why do we just go on…
He's walking home alone
With no hope in the world
And those horrible boys who won't leave his mind
Why do we choose not to help each other?
Always such a pity
He's getting beat up by such big boys
And no one gives a damn
They just stare and walk away
If you were in his shoes
Then, well, how bad would you feel
Knowing there's no one to help you through
Are you just scared?
Yes, we're just afraid
If we can't help each other
Then what do we have left?
Yes, we are ???
Yes, we're so afraid
Stay here and step forward and turn this world around
The lyrics of the song Shibuya de Punch by MiChi tell the story of a man who gets attacked by a group of heartless boys trying to take his belongings. The singer wakes up from a dream to witness the attack and feels helpless seeing everyone around pretending not to see the injustice. Despite the man's cries for help, no one offers assistance to him, leaving him bleeding and alone. The lyrics become a call to action, questioning why people allow this type of behavior to continue and why we choose not to help others when they are in need. The chorus repeats "why do we just go on?" emphasizing the need to break this cycle of apathy and step forward to make a positive change in the world.
