Primo Cliente
Morgan Lyrics

Per non aver più notti,
Perché non cada in reti di tramonti,
L'ho chiuso nei miei occhi,
E chi avrà freddo
Lungo il mio sguardo si dovrà scaldare.
(Grazie ad Alfonso per questo testo)
The opening line of "Vedo che salgo a rubare il sole" in Morgan's song "Primo Cliente" is symbolically rich as it speaks of the desire to seize the day, to live life to the fullest with no regard for the consequences. It's a quest to grab hold of that which is unattainable, to reach beyond the limits of the unknown, and to touch the radiance of the sun, which is the embodiment of all things hopeful and optimistic. The line "Per non aver più notti" is significant in that it speaks of a desire to live endlessly without any darkness or negativity, to embrace the light of the day, and to bask in its warmth. The following line "Perché non cada in reti di tramonti" is equally impressive as it is a clear allusion to the impermanence of life and the inevitability of death. The persona in the song is trying to avoid falling into the traps of the sunset - the symbolic representation of death - by living fully in the moment.
Moreover, "L'ho chiuso nei miei occhi" creates a strong metaphor that suggests that the persona has a deep understanding of the transience of life and the fragility of existence. By closing his eyes, he is trying to protect the fleeting moments of life, to capture them and preserve them from disappearing too quickly. Finally, "E chi avrà freddo Lungo il mio sguardo si dovrà scaldare" presents an image of a person who radiates warmth and positivity, who has the ability to comfort those who are lost, confused and afraid. This verse speaks of the importance of compassion, empathy, and humanity, urging us to become shining beacons of hope and light in a world that is often bleak and unforgiving.

Vedo che salgo a rubare il sole
I see myself rising to steal the sun
Per non aver più notti,
To avoid having any more nights
Perché non cada in reti di tramonti,
So that it doesn't fall into the nets of sunsets
L'ho chiuso nei miei occhi,
I have closed it in my eyes
E chi avrà freddo
And whoever feels cold
Lungo il mio sguardo si dovrà scaldare.
Will have to warm up along my gaze.
