Josh Hollister (Drums) and Logan Thayer (Guitar) are former members of the band.

With over 24,000 singles sold, four full EPs under their belt, and a continuously growing sound, it's no wonder My Girl Friday has decided to make 2012 their year. Hailing from Phoenix, AZ, the four-piece alternative-country band has shared the stage with the likes of The Ready Set, The Summer Set, Plug In Stereo and more.

On February 2, 2010 My Girl Friday released a digital-only EP, "Livin' Off The Party Scene", with 5 songs.

On May 4, 2010 My GIrl Friday released a second EP, "We Are...", with 7 new songs.

On October 19, 2010 My Girl Friday released a third "Self-Titled" EP on iTunes with 4 new songs.

On December 23, 2011 My Girl Friday released a fourth EP, "American Kids" with 6 new songs.

Their EPs "Livin' Off The Party Scene", "We Are...", "My Girl Friday" EP and "American Kids", were all recorded at Studio Valor with Dan Parker (A Change of Pace).

That had to be really special for him to have his daughter in the video at the end. I'm glad he lived long enough for his child to grow up. He was one of the most underrated singers of all time. I cherish all his music.

I remember when I 1st heard this song, it was on a non-local station so it cut in and out. I didn't get to hear the line "I'll always be her daddy and they'll have to bring her back" until I found the CD. Played it over the phone for a friend's friend and she told me she was gonna kick my butt for it b/c she cried for 15 min after hearing it. It's scary how a song can move you

I truly do miss his voice, but he was smart enough to know he had a problem and devoted everything to getting clean. So I rather miss the music and know he's alive and well, than to have to hear he died from alcohol poisoning

So sad to hear this news about this awesome country singer Darin Norwood I had wonders where he went over the years I so remember his songs I had one of his cds listening today brings back memories and take me back to a time in my life when I remember listening to his songs as I listen to his songs takes me back 20 years and memories of my own life gone by, so sad many of us suffer with Demons including myself and my own family and friends, I have lost more than 40 friends over the years more than half to addiction. *RIP Darin Norwood.

To Keith the Irish Cowboy Gallagher, Alcoholism is what happened, he's performing around Texas now and does motivational speaking. He's really a great guy and I don't care what an ex wife says I LOVE HIM and got to know him pretty well back when he was touring and still know him somewhat today. GREAT GUY!!!

That and drugs. He is my ex-husband's second cousin. His dad just passed away this year, and I am hoping his is finally getting his act completely together. He did for a while in Florida with his second wife, and now he is on wife #3 with a new son from this marriage. He has two daughters one from each of his other marriages. I kept praying from him to get all his demons handled. He has such a God given gift, and I hate to see that wasted.
